Large Pool. Private Beach Path. Vilano Beach House Closest to Historic St. Aug.

The property was exactly as described. Check-in was very easy, we arrived and basically walked right in. The pool was exceptional and there were plenty of towels and beach gear available. The outdoor shower areas were also nice. There is a bit of road noise from the location but I noticed a white noise machine available in our bedroom. Close walk to the beach, not even 5 minutes, also near restaurants and downtown St. Augustine. We had a storm blow through and the property manager was very easy to get ahold of and had the pool cleaned that same afternoon. His responsiveness and availability was great. Wish there were a larger indoor dining area but the outdoor table and umbrella worked great for our group of eight.

The property was really pretty and clean and came very well stocked for your needs. The pool was large and a huge plus. The walk to the beach was just a couple of minutes and it was easy enough to walk back for lunch or more drink if you don’t want drag a cooler around. I would definitely recommend this place for families wanting a beach vacation but with stay at home vibes. The drive to historic st Augustine with all the attractions was also pretty quick about 7 min drive.

Great host communication! However the photos do not match what you will see in person unless some things are updated and cleaned up. Landscaping around the pool wasn’t kept up. A lot of dead plants. The fire pit area with swing, the horseshoe area and grill needs to be updated as well as patio wood furniture outside the master bedroom. (You cannot sit on it) Not as pictured. I understood this wasn’t a beach front house but know that you will only see a very small partial water view from a window and maybe one spot on porch, if you’re looking for water views as we were and put in our filters when searching for a home close to water. From the third floor loft area, you will need to go through someones bedroom to use the bathroom. There is one bathroom on the second floor for three rooms to use. A lot of holes and patches on the walls..It wasn’t a bad walk to the beach and it was close and convenient to the grocery store and a few restaurants. Also know that you are right on/beside a busy intersection and will hear heavy traffic often. This house maybe good for young people that don’t care about these things. This was our yearly ladies trip. (We’re in our 40’s early 50s) I like to read reviews to know exactly and what it actually is. We only needed John to get the pool cleaned for us and he was responsive and checked on us throughout our stay. Everything else was what is was and I hope they get it done before next travelers stay. Hope this review helps.

Great location, pool, closeness to beach, overview deck, beach toys, parking, kids loved the loft, outdoor showers, fire pit, and host was on their game. Would definitely consider returning for more fun relaxing times with my family. Great value.

The pool was not 83 degrees like i saw somewhere online. May want to change that. It may have been 73 degrees. I know we went in the cooler months so we were going to expect cooler temps. We did enjoy the pool and beach. We had to warm up in the bathtub. Please check the handle and lock on the second floor bedroom on the pool side that goes out side. The handle needs tightening. We enjoyed the fire pit.We had a great time. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay. Pool was wonderful. Proximity to beach was great. Very comfortable home stocked with everything you need. Host was very responsive and helpful. Will definitely rent again.

Very close walk to the beautiful beach and short ride to historic downtown! Having Publix in walking distance was a plus! There was a cute restaurant with live music close by as well! We unfortunately had some rainy weather but still enjoyed our time.

we had the best stay - the listing was exactly as described yet somehow even better in person. proximity to the beach, the grocery store and dining options were all super close and convenient. communication with the owner couldn’t have been better - I think the longest I waited for a response from pre-booking to check out was 30-seconds. perfect location, perfect house for our family, perfect getaway. 10 out 10 would definitely recommend.

We had so much fun on our trip due to the ease of access to this rental. Our kiddos enjoyed the pool and the beach. The house was perfect for our group!

We had an amazing time this year and this house was good choice. John was super communicative and the place was clean and well stocked. The location was perfect! The beach was quaint and beautiful. The Publix was across the street, as well as a lovely restaurant, a couple bars and coffee places. Everything within walking distance. We arrived a bit early and so happy that John had provided a picture as this house is right at the light. The cleaning crew was there and very pleasant. We unloaded our things on the porch and hung by the pool while they finished up. The house has three levels which I think is important to note, somehow we missed that part. One bedroom at the bottom with a full bath and laundry. The second floor had two bedrooms, a full bath, a kitchen and a patio and the third floor had a tiny vertical ladder to get to the bed and fouton. We are ladies in our 50's. That third level was not much used as we were afraid of breaking our neck and both of the mattresses were quite thin. The pool area had a ton of room to spread out and the pool was ready for use. One thing to note is there is not any shade and the high top chairs are in need of repair. We brought our pop up tent for the beach and it worked well at the pool as well. One night there was a thunderstorm and we would have loved to stay outside but there is no covered area. The bottom level is semi covered by a porch above, but it is slatted so rain come in. All in all it was a great time!

We had an awesome stay and it was conveniently located to the beach and Publix and restaurants. Everyone LOVED the big pool with lots of pool toys. Excellent accommodations! Our youngest was 15 and oldest was 85!

We enjoyed our time in Vilano. The house was comfortable but had some minor issues (no water pressure in the showers, fridge water dispenser didn’t work properly, no kitchen table, way more stairs than I realized which isn’t ideal for young/small kids, badly stained beach and bath towels. The shed with beach/pool toys was a bit chaotic and disorganized and we saw a couple mice/rats hanging out in there). The location was great for the adults but still a little ways away if you’re traveling with little kids or lots of stuff to bring to the beach. The pool was definitely the best part of this home! The water was warm and it was so spacious.

Loved our stay. The pool area was incredible and such a convenient location with the beach just a short walk away(my 2 year old did it twice a day no issues!) plus having the Publix across the street is a big help. The drive to downtown st Augustine was less than 10 minutes and could walk to the fishing pier with a view of downtown. Would 10/10 stay again.

This property was everything we wanted & more! It is in the perfect location. My group did not have a car, so the Publix and other restaurants across the street were amazing! The Uber into town was only 10-15 minutes, too. Also, the beach was not crowded and it was so clean! The host is also very responsive and friendly. Everyone in my group could not stop raving about the house. Thanks again, John!

Overall impression is that the property interior is very nice and clean. We used the provided laundry and had no issues using WiFi. Found walk to beach is short and not having to cross a busy street is very convenient.

This was a great set up for 3 families to get together, play cards, and just relax. The 5 kids had a blast in the pool and playing lawn games
