Large Lavonia Home w/ Party Dock on Lake Hartwell!

Great place to stay. The house has stunning views and easy access to the lake. Jump in the water from the dock or go up on the roof of the dock for sunning during the day or star gazing at night. The house is amazing. It is beautiful, roomy, plenty to do, and wonderful places to sit and enjoy the view.

Really loved our stay here. The house sleeps so many people comfortably. It's very clean, some great upgrades and renovations, with a game area in the walk-out basement and lots of new bathrooms. The lake itself is really a highlight. We rented a tritoon and two jet skis. There was plenty of room to tie up on either side of the dock. The cove is deep and easy to maneuver in a boat, and even this middle-aged jumper off the second level of the dock. The cove is a bit removed from the main channel so there is no real boat traffic, leaving you space to just chill in the lake with your group. For traveler awareness - the house is really well stocked but doesn't have much in the way of like condiments or basics. Makes it feel *super* clean! But it does mean you need to bring everything with you - coffee, etc. And the neighborhood is pretty remote. Ten minutes to the nearest restaurants and 20 or so to the nearest grocery store. These are not bad things!! Just things to be aware about if you travel here. It's cozy and peaceful!We LOVED our time at this property and would recommend it to groups of all shapes and sizes.

I can't say enough about the SPACE in this property. Multiple living areas. Multiple places for family dinners. Two sets of washer and dryers. The dock was great and had its own kyacks. The location is close to town. Great trip.

The home was even more spacious than it looked in the pictures! Our intern team was very comfortable and entertained between the ping pong table, the double-decker dock and the kayaks! I imagine we were an early stay in the season, so there were some areas of the house that were a little dusty -- but other than that, it was a perfect stay! Would visit again!

We stayed at the house with 14 people most of which were our college aged children and nephews. There was plenty of space for all of us!! Host was extremely helpful in responding to our questions prior to our stay!! We will definitely be back again!

We started off with a couple of problems but they were resolved quickly. Michelle always does a great job of resolving anything that comes up or answering questions. This is my third time coming here and I love it more each time. I have come twice with my friends for a crafting escape and this time I brought my family. They had such a great time they never even left the house to explore the town or surrounding sites. Between fishing, swiming, paddle boarding and kayaking they were happy to just be at the house. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to come with a large group. The beds are so comfortable, the house is spotless, and there is pleanty of room so everyone isn't on top of each other.

there was a leak in the gas stove and we were choking on the fumes at 7 am. we were evacuated by my son who turned on the stove to make breakfast. He did not open the oven, fortunately he knew it was a leak and would blow up! Called the owner to get the gas turned off and they said they had a previous problem with the gas on the new stove. The gas company came same day and shut off the gas line as a precaution. We had no stove for 4 days, the BBQ was rotted out with a rat living inside so we ate out and threw away all the food we brought. There was mouse poop in the drawer and in the pantry where we put our food. there was old food stuck to the seating in kitchen. Also the ladder at the dock is dangerously loose and the rails going down as well. Bottomline is my family could have been killed in that house and I want to be reimbursed for the days of no stove. Owner promised a reimbursement of 4 days but never sent any money. Evolve the company who handles the rental also could do nothing. I do not recommend you use Evolve for anything and certainly don't book this rental. Vickie

We loved everything about this place! The lake was wonderful…we stayed in it all day and evenings except for eating breaks. Super clean place! Very comfortable beds! Unlike other lake homes we have stayed in it was easy walking up and down to the dock. I would only make 3 suggestions- more bath towels would be helpful, it would be a super plus to have a ping pong table, or pool table in the extra family room downstairs , and finally we felt the skinny steps on the deck ladder were difficult to climb up and down especially for us who were more elderly. But I still give it a 5 star rating for the overall experience!
