In Flahult, Småland, about 25 km south of Jönköping, there is a modern holiday home renovated in 2007. The house is located on an estate close to the lake, where you have many beautiful beaches and good fishing opportunities. You have access to your own boat and jetty. If you want to have BootMotor you can rent it. There are many beautiful lakes where you can go by boat. In the lakes you will mainly find the pike, perch and the 'Gös', which is known as pikeperch in German

Stayed Jun 21, 2025We were lucky to find this wonderful accommodation, to reach it you first need to drive on an uneven road through swedens beautiful forests, once you reach it the first thing you see is a perfectly mowed lawn (thanks to the Husquarna Automower) and a clean and tidy driveway. The house itself is big, well equipped and perfectly clean. The house included a boat, and if you ask nicely, you can get a small engine attached which would have made life more easy conquering the near lake (i recommend driving by car, the road Elis very uneven and not very suitable for normal bikes) Overall great experience, would visit again. Oh and if you travel with an electric car like us, you even have the opportunity to charge it at the house!

Stayed May 21, 2023We totally enjoyed our stay, the house and the surrounding. Everything was uncomplicated, host was fast with responding. Perfect for us and our small kids. Would love to stay here again in case we are planing holidays in the same area again.

Stayed Jun 12, 2018This house has so much more than we expected- a heated bathroom floor, a central vacuum system, sharp kitchen knives, and the list goes on. We felt like we could move in permanently. The owners are very helpful and responsive. Our stay was a wonderfully relaxing break from big cities.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed for one week with 2 parents two children at Robert's beautiful house. The vacation was marvelous. It is very quiet with one neighbour and some animals close by. The children were happy about horse, cow and chicken on the surrounding grounds. A boat with a motor can be rented which opens up the lake experience. Beutiful bathing beaches can be easily found, so we did some boat-picknicking. The lake is some hundred metres away, so no fear for them falling into it, but a bit lengthy to walk. Trips to the Lindgren stuff (Bullerbyn, Vimerby,...) are app. 1,5 hours, Stockholm can be done in a day trip (3 hours drive). Vättern lake is only 30km away. Food can be fetched from the nearby small village supermarket; no real restaurants in the vicinity. Ideal for a family holiday!
