Large Family Rental Close to Town & Steps Beach

The pictures and location were accurate - this is a wonderful home for a group/family! The kitchen was well stocked and we found everything we needed. The only confusing point was the requirement to have all towels and linens laundered by the 9am check out. I have stayed at many rental properties and never found this to be the case, so it required a bit more planning to make sure we could run the laundry enough ahead of checkout.

Our month-long stay at Four Paws was spectacular! The photos didn’t do justice to this beautiful home. The rooms are so spacious and when we had a full house with our guests there was room for people to be together or to have some private time. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking, there were games and puzzles, and books to enjoy, the back yard was lovely for evening cocktails and late night stargazing. We walked into Town nearly every day and Steps Beach was very close by. Great sunsets! Even though the house was close to Cliff Rd there was absolutely no road noise at any time of day. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and were very responsive before and during our stay. Nothing but the highest enthusiasm for this wonderful home on our favorite island.

We had an awesome time. House set-up is terrific with 4 very spacious BR’s and all en suite bathrooms. Beautifully maintained with a terrific backyard/lots of sunlight to relax and enjoy the Nantucket breeze. Perfect patio/deck for lovely gas hook-up BBQ. Easy walk to Steps beach, and just far enough outside of town, yet close enough to stroll in on a walk to dinner. Amazing host with responsiveness throughout our stay. Thank you again for allowing us to stay and enjoy a terrific week with our family.

Four Paws was a wonderful place to stay for our vacation in Nantucket. My husband and I came with our 3 month old for a week in August. The location is fantastic on tony Cliff Road, walking distance from Steps Beach and town. The house is spacious with an ideal open living room / dining room / kitchen with a first rate kitchen and massive kitchen island. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and had good knives (my complaint at vacation houses!). The beds were comfortable and there were ample towels, beach chairs, umbrellas. We enjoyed the deck and outdoor shower. I hope to return next year! Gene and Angie were easy to communicate with and checked in on us.

82b is the perfect location, close to town, close to bike paths and beaches. Ideal for a large family or two families. Yard is fantastic to eat or lounge. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. House is updated and well equipped for entertaining. We will definitely be back!

This was a great rental. The location is absolutely ideal. We easily walked to steps beach for 4th of july fireworks, biked to dionis beach on the bike trail and walked to town even with the kids. We had an issue with the master shower and it wasn't ever very clean during our stay but the house was otherwise clean and lovely. One real drawback is that the neighbors are unfortunately very loud in the middle of the night (they have teenagers that hang out in the backyard at 2 and 3am). That disturbed our sleep meaningfully for two nights in a row because the master bedroom shares a wall with this neighboring yard so it sounded like they were in the house. Save for that the house was great.

Family vacation with 2 kids under 2. Nice open floor plan with plenty of space for everyone to hangout in the kitchen, dining room and living room. Large and well appointed bedrooms. Very clean and comfortable. House had all the basics we needed for the week. Beautiful backyard great for kids. Easy 5 min walk to Steps Beach and 20 min walk into town. Gene and Angie were super communicative and helpful - overall great hosts.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We did have a problem with the downstairs shower and the temperature a/c upstairs. We waited for repair man it was a 2 day process to get things fixed but never really was. The house had everything we needed and was close to town and exactly what we needed. I would recommend this house again.
