Large Family Lodge South of Breckenridge on quiet, wooded acreage

Plenty of room to spread out. Host was easy to work with and accommodated us.

States that no pets allowed, but we found dog or cat hair on our clothes. Not a lot but someone didn’t follow the rules

Beautiful, well appointed and equipped home within striking distance of Breckenridge Mtn! Absolutely lovely place and a good value for CO rents. We had large family reunion with cousins from three siblings and had fantastic time gathering in the large kitchen, luxurious living room, and fun basement family/game room. Just a couple minor negatives worth pointing out for future guests. The house altitudes is 10,300 feet! for lowlanders took us several days to adjust from sickness. There were cameras all over the house including inside the front door. The check-in instructions were like a novel with so much detail we lost focus after page 4. Lastly, the bunk bedroom didn’t have bed sheets cleaned from last stay but owner compensated us for that snafu.

We spent two weeks of comfort and connection together with friends in the middle of the mountains. The house was beautifully located with a property around that we can walk or bike to the nearby towns of Alma or Fairplay. We were driving distance to several 14ers, Breckenridge and even Colorado Springs. We liked the house, the wide open dining room was great for breakfast, lunch, dinner, BBQ, whatever. We played games, poker, pool table, foosball, and horseshoes. We used the jacuzzi and the sauna almost every day. They were amazing! The rooms were good. Four of us had our own rooms. Two had to share a bunk room. Overall good experience with everything we needed. Some of the lights were not working but the essential ones were.

Our family of 10 loved our stay! The owners were very quick at responding to questions. The kitchen is very well stocked. The grandkids had fun playing pool and foosball. We did get to see a moose down in the stream one evening.

The house was exactly as shown. So roomy and allows for private space. It also provides all the basic needs plus adds so many extra amenities from kitchen appliances, semi stocked pantry, and refrigerator and toys for kids. The home is truly welcoming and accommodating.

Our family had an amazing stay at this home! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, spacious, and well-equipped the house was. The photos don’t do it justice—it’s even more beautiful in person!The home had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living spaces were cozy and perfect for family time. The bedrooms were spacious, and everyone slept comfortably. This home truly exceeded our expectations, and we made wonderful family memories here. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect vacation rental!

We stayed a week at this property with family.This is a great location for a ski trip. We skied Breckenridge, Cooper and Monarch. The house was very spacious and we had a wonderful time.Don't over look the quaint shops in Alma-including a coffee shop and a Bakery (all sourdough items)across the street from the Coffee shop.We would definitely recommend this property.

Very nice home and had everything we needed. Had a water leak doqnstairs and contacted the owner and he had a plumber out the same day and got it fixed.

We rented this home in Alma for our family of 11 for several nights. The home was well equipped for the size of our family. During our stay, we skied, played games and enjoyed the amenities of this rental. Fortunately, the owner was willing to allow us to use their sleds on the hill on the property (we did not know we had to bring our own sleds). One highlight from our trip was when a large moose strolled along the property. Thanks...

This house and location was incredible. You’re not stuck in the craziness in Breckenridge. Super peaceful and every amenity you could think of in this beautiful place. Hope to stay here again!

The perfect family home away from the hustle and bustle of Breckenridge. If you are looking for a spacious, serene, home that is perfect for up to 14 — this is it! It is located near Alma - about 15 miles from Breckenridge — although you should be prepared for the drive to take a while. The house is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is beautiful, yet very homey and comfortable. The Christmas tree and lights were a lovely touch! While we loved the snow, this home would be a great option year round. We love to see a lot of country, so driving doesn’t bother us a bit. We made day trips to Leadville, Frisco, and Breckenridge. We also loved the small, quaint restaurants and bars in Alma and Fairplay — all within 10 minutes of the house.A couple of notes if you are traveling with children — the sledding hill was perfect for us (ages 4 and 2) but is only half a hill (no trespassing sign). It might be a disappointment for older kids. The owners also request kids not use the hot tub or pool table. Again - not an issue with our age, but could be discouraging for older kids.

This place was amazing! Very spacious for our family of 13 and had anything and everything to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. Host was amazing at communication and had the driveway plowed during our nice snow days! Great location to everything yet quite and secluded.

The house is sprawling and spacious. The setup with the kitchen/living room area made it comfortable for our 10 to be together, while the downstairs area offer separation for playing games or quiet relaxing. The hot tub offers spectacular views, and can comfortably fit 4. It was a quick scenic drive to Breckenridge, and we were able to venture further in different directions to see as much of the region as we could.

Beautiful home/property. Exceeded the family’s expectations and the owner was great to deal with. Plan to stay again in the near future.

The house is beautiful! Great location! Plenty of room for 7 adults and 6 kids! We had a great time hiking, exploring, and relaxing!
