Large Destin Home with Pool, LSV, and Bikes | Walk to Beach

House was good for the amount of people we had staying. 5 car limit for a property that sleeps 30 people doesnt make sense with no off site parking suggustions. Was not able to check in at 4 pm as cleaning was still in process. I think we were able to check in around 4:45. Smoke detectors went off on the 2nd floor on day 2 and as they did come that night to replace the one detector this did not fix the problem. They went off all night long on the 2nd and 3 floors where all alot of the small children were sleeping. Maintance came the next morning and took them 1/2 the day to replace every detecor in house. Problems with the heated sauna. Called about this several times. Had to call maintance re: the grill where someone previously used the fire estingisher and it was never cleaned. Had to call maintance again for someone to come out to properly clean it so that it was useable and bring new fire estinguisher. Roaches found on the 2nd and 3rd floor.

It was a beautiful stay! The pool heat was broken but they did a fantastic job getting it fixed ASAP they were also a pleasure to communicate with. Overall cant wait to go back!

An absolutely beatiful house, lots of amenities! Blue 360 is so quick to respond, and even has an emergency staff member on call to help with emergencies all the time!

This property is built for a large family vacation. Many bedrooms and baths, large open kitchen/dining/sitting area. Beautiful pool and patio. Very convenient to shops nearby, and the golf cart is a huge plus. The check in was very easy, and management was very responsive.Just a couple of things need to be attended to. Half of the pool deck chairs were broken. Bathroom faucets/holders/drains need to be attended to.Listing currently talks about beach access several blocks away, but this is not to a public access beach. A drive is necessary to get to public beach. You can do this with the golf cart, but it is not really walkable.

Location is great, the house is very spacious, and the golf cart is a huge pro. The bad: We founds several bugs inside the house. They look like huge roaches. One was inside the bedding on one of the first floor rooms. The others we saw crawling on second floor. I did contact host the next day and they offered to come change bedding but at that point we were already on the go and the people in that room no longer wanted to stay in it so we didn’t care to change it anymore. They just took another room. They only provide minimal necessities so bring or buy your own.

We had 18 people, ranging from 14-83 yrs old. Everyone had their own room &bathroom! The golf cart & bikes came in handy as well. While there is access to the beach 2 blocks down, there's no parking for golf cart or cars. There's free public parking a few more blocks over which we did, but limited spots, so prepare to pay $20 for nearby parking up to 4 hr. House is close to Publix & Whole Foods, making it very easy to run to the store. Kitchen has tons appliances, anything you need! Bathrooms all had a box that had basic soap toiletries - nice touch! A plus that is not listed is an outside shower head on the side of the house. Perfect when coming back the beach to rinse off all the sand. Now, while these are not cons, a few things to point out. All beds are VERY high, except 1 on the 1st flr where my 80 yr old parents stayed, so be aware if anyone is elderly or needs assistance. They would have not been able to get in/out of bed. I do wish there were luggage racks in each room, i don't like luggage on the floor. I do wish there was chair in each room. Since beds are so high, even putting on socks & shoes was difficult. The floor descrip. on the listing is off: 2nd floor - 3 king rooms and 1 room w/king & bunk bed. 3rd floor - 2 king rooms & 1 room w/king & bunk beds. Descrip. states both bunk bedrooms are on 3rd flr. I had preassigned rooms prior to arrival & had adjust when we arrived. Overall, this is a great house and a wonderful stay! 10/10 would recommend!

My wife and I brought 7 of our adult children, 5 spouses and 15 grandchildren… 29 Strong! The size of this unit and its amenities were wonderful! We think we have vacationed in this area close to 25 times. This was by far our favorite stay!
