Large and Cozy Home Near River and Downtown

It was perfect for our occasion. Plenty of room and the games was a blast. Love the bar room.

Nice big house in a great location. Very college frat house feel that is perfect for San Marcos.

House is larger than it appears in the pictures. Check in was easy and the host was responsive to any questions. We would stay again.

Everything was clean looking at first. We found two dead roaches & thought good, they’re dead, so they have sprayed. Nice size house for us, it was plenty of space. We enjoyed the game room that seemed to have been converted from the garage. There was a large table that we enjoyed using to play games on. However when we went to bake, there wasn’t a real oven so we had to use the air fryer. It looks like it is a bachelor pad. The paint needs to be refreshed. The bar is set up to be able to put a pony leg on it, which was cool! When I texted the owner if the hot tub was in working order, he responded right away that unfortunately it wasn’t. The dishes, cups & flatware were ample. There weren’t very many towels and the two washcloths we found didn’t look clean and had long hairs on them. The linen closet was not very organized, towels just stuffed in it. We left for the day and when we got back we saw a few LIVE cockroaches and continued to find them throughout the night. We counted 16, I believe!! It grossed the girls out and they didn’t feel comfortable sleeping, even with the lights on. I tried contacting the owner about it and he didn’t respond. I was very disappointed and embarrassed as I had set this up for our family girls trip this year.

Nice roomy house, large enough for our family of 8. We accidentally locked ourselves out & the host arrived in 5 minutes to let us in. Two minor problems- the heating element was put on the dryer & there was a drain smell ( slight) in the kitchen. The host responded promptly and said that he would get them fixed ASAP. 5 minutes to the river, shopping , and restaurants. 15 minutes to outlet mall. Overall, enjoyed the stay.

Perfect location and size of house for a quick, overnight stay. Our schedule allowed for only one night in San Marcos, and our host could not have been more accommodating. Very responsive communication received from host and flexible with check-in time. I would stay at this house again and recommend renting this home. It easily fit our party of 9 people and the yard was the perfect size for our dog. Highly recommend!
