Stayed Jan 8, 2026We had the most wonderful, cozy family Christmas at this perfect large cabin! From the moment we pulled up, it just felt like a warm hug – exactly what we were hoping for to bring everyone together over the holidays. The place was spotless and stocked with everything we needed (plenty of pots, pans, extra blankets, board games, and even some holiday decorations already up that made it feel extra special). The kitchen was a dream for cooking big family meals, and the open living area with the fireplace meant we could all pile on the couches, play games, sip hot cocoa, and watch the snow fall outside. The kids (and honestly the adults too) loved the cozy vibe so much we barely wanted to leave!Location-wise, it was absolutely ideal – just minutes from town, grocery stores, and all the winter activities, but still tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. We popped out for sledding and Christmas light drives, then came right back to our little home-away-from-home to warm up by the fire.Every single one of us – from grandparents to the littlest cousins – left with big smiles and full hearts. It truly made our family Christmas one we’ll talk about for years. Highly recommend this sweet cabin if you’re looking for that perfect cozy, memory-making getaway. We’re already talking about booking it again next year!

Stayed Sep 22, 2025This was our 10th annual visit. 5th or 6th time in a “winterparkhouse” property. We love making memories here. The space is excellent for multiple families and the hosts are extremely friendly and attentive. Always recommend!

Stayed Jul 4, 2025The property was perfect for our 3 generation family trip with 19 people ages 4 to 70. The oldest were on the main level so they didn't have to constantly go up and down stairs. Having living rooms on each level allowed the kids of different ages group according to interest and not be in each others hair. The kitchen accommodated large family meals each day. We loved it.

Stayed Jun 21, 2025We had a lovely stay at this mountain home! With 10 adults and 2 children, it was really important that there was enough common space and sufficient noise isolation between bedrooms and common areas - this house delivered! There was also enough seating for 10 adults and enough plates/silverware. Nice outdoor space and easy access to groceries and town while feeling removed from the hustle. Only complaint is that two of the bedrooms didn't have blinds, but hopefully that can be easily fixed!

Stayed Mar 30, 2025The highlight of our stay was an evening visit from a pair of moose. They were within 20 feet of the house for over a hour. What a treat! The management company was extremely quick to respond to questions that came up. This house provided plenty of room for our multigenerational party of 10 to stretch out in. There are 3 areas with sofas and televisions. The bedrooms are large, each with televisions. There are bathrooms galore, however the bathroom windows either don’t have any coverings or the shades are broken. The cleaning crew does a good job cleaning the well stocked kitchen and the bathrooms. Because the home finishings and furnishings such as the carpets, rugs and living room sofa are so worn, it doesn’t feel clean. I wiped a layer of dust off the ceiling fan over the dining table to prevent dust from falling on our food. The large heated garage includes lots of area for ski storage and space to set up boot dryers. That was greatly appreciated. The low point of the stay was finding mice in bathrooms on 2 levels of the house.

Stayed Feb 7, 2025We had a good stay at the Winter Park House. It was large enough to accommodate our large family, with bedrooms large enough to offer each family some privacy. The hosts were very responsive, even sending someone out to fill the hot tub within an hour of being requested. The garage was large enough to fit a few cars, which was nice to keep them insulated from the weather conditions and the ski racks and benches a plus! The house has radiant heat, and is consistently as warm as you could want it.However, there were some aspects of our stay that were disappointing for us. To improve the stay, some suggestions we have are to provide multiple WARM blankets in each bedroom since we were unable to use the comforters; the garage door to the basement could barely be shut because its hinges were loose; fix the faucet handle and towel rack in the mud room half bath ( my husband reinstalled the fallen hand towel rack to keep it from falling off the wall); fix the refrigerator door milk compartments that kept wanting to fall off; fix and replace wheels on the dishwasher racks; replace the dirty/smelly couch in the living room that offered no support especially with a missing leg on one side ( the couches in the basement and on the second floor are great); deep cleaning definitely needed as the living room rug was filthy/worn, there was a thick layer of dust on every ceiling fan and the garage refrigerator was dirty sticky( It was s

Stayed Nov 8, 2024We booked this home for a family gathering for my mom’s 50th birthday weekend. We wanted a place where her sisters and parents could stay and be us be all together. This home was more than accommodating. The kitchen, dining area and living room was our place to gather and spend time together as a family and had plenty of space and the bedrooms were very spacious. The house was secluded but near to the grocery stores in case you needed to grab something quickly. Would definitely book again. Thank you to the amazing hosts.

Stayed Jun 29, 2024The Winter Park house was a perfect fit for our large family (13 adults, 2 kids, 1 infant) We do a vacation every summer, and always look for a large property, but this is the first time we have ever had MORE space than we needed! Typically we have to 'make it work' This property had 3 King Master suites, plus 2 additional rooms with King beds, a bunk room, and a fully finished basement area with 2 additional queen beds, and a living area. We only have 2 kids in our group, the rest are adults and/or couples, so the amount of space was exactly what we needed!! No one had to 'squish' together. We loved the Many balconies for private enjoyment, 3 family room type spaces for relaxing a huge garage that we spent a ton of time in playing games and socializing (to include ping pong!!) Everyone was able to spend their time exactly how they wanted to! The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and dishes, more than we could have ever needed! We found a big stack of beach towels that came in handy for the hot tub, and our day at Grand Lake. The host checked in with us multiple times to make sure we didn't need anything, and kept in great communication on our departure day. There is literally not a single complaint from anyone in our group. We hope to return to this property in the future.
