Large 5BR/4BA Home- Walk to The Beach- Pet Friendly!

Pro: Love the location and number of beds. House was decorated beautifully and was very beachy. It is a beautiful house. Very clean. Nice family location. Close to Kenny Ds, basketball and volleyball, beach and chairs to rent, shared pool, coffee shop and tiki bar. Close to groceries and restaurants.Con: There was a list of unaddressed issues by the previous tenant in the book. The are many exterior door handles that don’t work, window handles missing and could not operate, inoperable toilet and shower, very few pans and containers, no hot pads, missing shelves in fridge, etc. if you can look past these minor inconveniences, which we did, then the price you pay is for the location and beds. We had a great week.

We loved the location, plenty of room at the condo, pet friendly.

BECH VIEW WAS OBSTRUCTED, BUT A 2MINUTE, WALK. GREAT HOUSE, GREAT LOCATION, WALK TO CAPT DAVES RESTRAUNT, NEIGHBORHOOD IS AWESOME. GREAT WALKING/ RUNNING PATH. SHOPS & EATING IN WALKING DISTANCE.

So, I'll start with the bad.I took off a star because communication with Beachview Rentals was absolutely dismal. I called on 3 separate occasions and left 3 different voicemails and never, got a call back. I tried calling to make my second payment early, to figure out what kitchen supplies they had (was planning on cooking for a big group), and because the email they sent with the guest portal was faulty. When I reached out through VRBO, they said they would call then never did. They claimed summer was a busy season, but never got back to me nor did they apologize.This was inconvenient because I was coming from far away. Had they communicated with me and been clear about what they had/didn't have, I could have brought necessary cooking supplies / seasonings instead of having to buy them on the fly.They provided 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, a single roll of paper towels and 2 trash bags for a 14 person, 5 night stay. This is unacceptable in my opinion. There were also only 5 coffee mugs--I would suggest buying more for the house. Take cooking supplies off the listing. There wasn't a cutting board nor were there oven mitts--which are pretty basic cooking items.Beyond that, the place was beautiful and clean. Beds and furniture were incredibly comfortable. Keurig Duo worked quite nicely. The margarita glasses were a nice touch. Being so close to the beach was amazing and there was plenty of room for my group to hang out!

Lovely home with only a short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. There was enough space for everyone to be together and separate when needed. * There was mold coming from some bathroom vents and on ceiling, which was not good for those of us with allergies.

Our vacation was great! Plenty of room for 6 adults and 5 kids ages 3-9. Besides the beach, pool, and our house, Destin has a lot to offer! We will be back! Thank you!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Our first family trip with our family from Michigan. We had 1infant, 7 kids, and 5 adults. It was very spacious and clean! There were items for the beach available so we did not have to purchase any. Cleaning supplies were there to help with the mess from the sand and kids. Distance to the beach, pool, volleyball court was within walking distance. This was an added plus given the amount of kids!

Our family vacation was an experience we will cherish forever. The home was spacious and very accommodating to our needs. The property manager was very responsive and attentive. Beautiful home and located feet away from the beach. We can’t wait to book our next vacation with Beachview Vacation Homes!

We had gust of wind that came and took the door from my hands and it banged against the outside wall, cracking the door and they seemed to be understanding of this although I never heard from them. I do think that the door should swing inside ad out side doors are suppose to.

The house was perfect for the 12 of us. It was clean and the beds were all comfortable. Loved how close of a walk to the beach. The only complaint we would have is that the oven didn't work. Other than that, we would stay here again.

The disappointment came from the general condition of the furniture, appliances and cookware. The BBQ was inoperable and extremely dirty. The cookware was old and scratched. The oven took forever to heat (over 1hr to 350F). The dryer took 2 cycles to dry clothes. Diningroom chairs were wobbly and the couch was stained. General condition is a vacation rental past it's prime and attention to creature comforts are neglected.

Beautiful property with clean house, linens, kitchen.. everything was above and beyond what we expected. We really enjoyed our stay.

Master bedroom is absolutely perfect. •1st floor 2 rooms of bunkbeds & laundry room •2nd floor kitchen-king bedroom (extremely hot, we couldn’t ever get it to cool down), •3rd bedroom master & other king room •ProsGreat location, spacious rooms, good price, great communication with the host, pool was right across the street, beach was extremely close I loved that we could just walk & rent chairs/umbrella (so much easier than carrying all that stuff down) plus you’ll have a spot reserved for your whole group.There is a crockpot& Keurig/coffeepot. •ConsKitchen is on 2nd floor, the propane tank was empty when we arrived and the grill was very nasty covered the whole bottom of it in grease, the backyard needs works really bad it had trash & dirty clothes from the group before us &it was not enclosed like what we thought and not very big. We also had to go buy trash bags, paper towels,detergent, soap, kitchen towels (you cannot use white towels to clean up any spills or messes)& refill of the propane tank because there it was empty or not enough to last us 7 days there. The host said I should receive a refund for propane tank but still haven’t. Bad smell from the kitchen.Again it was a great house but we had to spend a lot of extra things which should have already been there.
