Thank you for a beautiful home and amazing view. Property was exactly as described and had all the amenities for a wonderful long family weekend visit for our son’s graduation. Communication and text messages and reminders made it easy to stay connected if there was anything needed. Thanks again and we look forward to another visit!
Very nice home that worked well for our extended family to vacation together! Plenty of room for 6 adults and four teenage boys. This was our first experience with VRBO and it was wonderful!
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house has an amazing view of the lake, and we were visited by deer every morning and every evening. The separate bunk room and game room were perfect for our teenage son and friend to hang out and have their separate place. We would definitely stay here again.
The view was fantastic. The house was nice but could use some repairs - the deck was wobbly, and the balisters on the rail are too far apart for small children. 1 set of stairs going to game room needs railing on both sides. But overall a very nice experience! Loved seeing all the deer around.
Our sons play for the U of Arkansas hockey team and a group of us stayed and drove into Springdale to watch the team take on Oklahoma State. Great spot for us to stay together. Really liked the place.
Fun family vacation!! We enjoyed our stay! Only wish we could have been closer to the water! The inside of house was clean but the outside decks were not well kept up. Lots of debris, furniture as very dirty and several loose rails on the railing. Upper deck off of the one bedroom was very unstable. We didn’t even use it.
Our group of empty nester friends had a ball. What a view! And the most comfortable beds ever, even in the bunkhouse. We enjoyed all the spaces. It is tucked away but still relatively close to the museum and civilization. An excellent time!
Enjoyed the deck and looking at the water
Clean. Bright. Majestic.
This was a nice house. The kids loved all the different nooks and crannies to explore. Plenty of towels and sheets. Loved all the different spaces for different family groups. The location is lovely with a great view of Beaver Lake. Game room was fun-maybe needs an air freshener. needed some new sealing on outdoor decks and stairs and rails. Not hard to get everywhere in the area. Would recommend to others!
This property is great! The home is very interesting on how they utilized the spaces that they have, and I mean that in a good way. We really thought the layout was neat. We really enjoyed how quiet and peaceful the home and property were. The back deck has a wonderful view of the hills and lake. It was a very peaceful place to sit and drink coffee and relax. The gas grill and gas firepit were both a great addition to our outdoor experience. The living room has a high ceiling, and the decor is very inviting and just felt like home. The kitchen was well stocked with dishware, cookware and cooking/eating utensils. We cooked every meal with ease. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would easily recommend it to anyone looking to have a calm and relaxing stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at this house. The views were spectacular and the house was just what we needed for our family Christmas!
My family and I had been so looking forward to this vacation together as we had not traveled together since before the pandemic. We had family coming from different states and needed a large place where we could all gather. The property is large. As others have mentioned, you need to note that the bunk house and game room are not attached to the house and you have to go down some perilous stairs (made more perilous because it had snowed the day before and they had iced over and were not cleared). So if you have young kids you are thinking of housing here be aware. As I mentioned, it was extremely cold and unfortunately the heat in the house went out while we were there. I spoke to management several times. Management ended up being a call center in India. They sent someone with space heaters that did little good because the property is so large, the ceilings are so high that you had to be standing right next to them to feel the heat. The effort and gesture were appreciated, though. We ended up leaving the property a day early because of the lack of heat. Pictures show a fireplace with a warm fire burning but there was no firewood to be seen. There are 3 kitchens shown in the pictures but only the main kitchen is equipped with plates, etc. Towels and blankets were plentiful (thankfully) and the view was beautiful. It was unfortunate that the heat went out and we had to cut our trip. A partial refund was given and that is greatly appreciated. However, this is a very expensive property and I was expecting more for the price. Also, make sure you do not pass the house when you arrive; immediately afterward is an extremely steep, treacherous hill. Parking could be a problem if you have a lot of cars as the street where the house is located is quite narrow.
The property was extremely clean and well appointed. We loved our stay!
If you can’t access the lake or use the dock you should remove those pictures from your advertisement! Deck and stairs are falling apart. The kids room is not attached to the house. With young kids you can’t just let them stay somewhere unattached. Shouldn’t be advertised as a kids space with bunk beds. House very dirty, I would consider a new cleaning crew.
Enjoyed our time at this property! Quiet and beautiful! Appreciate being pet friendly, able to moor our boat and access to the swim deck. Home was clean, beds were comfy, great porch with view of the lake! It’s a hike to the water- but great cardio work out!! Lots of space to allow privacy for our growing family.
This is a great property in a super location. We had a fun time. The property could use some serious TLC. Mostly small things. The area going onto the dock could pose a problem if one was not careful. Overall we would rent again.
It’s hard to beat Northwest Arkansas for beauty and activities.
We had a great stay here! 8 adults and 4 kids under 8 had the right amount of room; great view and a nice private dock. Property management was prompt to communicate when we had questions.
