Lowell, Arkansas
A great place to get away from the hustle of life where you can enjoy solitude, the lake & nature in a private and peaceful environment. It is glorious!
You will not be in a neighborhood... You will have the opportunity to enjoy a delightful 20 acres on private property with mowed nature trails, an old barn that is over 100 years old, a farmhouse with such charm, and it all sits on the shoreline of Beaver Lake.
This private property is at the end of a lane with a gated entrance, and is right on the water's edge with a 180 degree view of the lake.
Nearest grocery store, liquor store, pharmacy, urgent care, & bank are 15 minutes away.
The Farm House On Beaver Lake is over 100 years old and was updated in 2014. We added modern amenities, while keeping the charm of farm house living; including orginial repurposed wood and shiplap. It has a large screened-in porch across the front of the house with a stunning view of the lake and The Barn. The living room has a 48" flat screen with OzarkGo cable & wifi, and a DVR. The dining room table comfortably seats 8; and there are additional tables, chairs, and TV trays. The kitchen has a 6 burner gas commercial range & stainless appliances; it is fully stocked with pots & pans, glasses, dishes, etc. The laundry room has full size washer & dryer with counter space for storage, and it leads to the backyard. There are five (5) bedrooms each with their own personality; one is downstairs and four are upstairs. Each bedroom has a queen bed; one also includes a crib and another also includes a twin bunk. There are two (2) bathrooms; one on each floor.
Outdoors includes an outdoor shower with hot & cold water, picnic table, gas grill, fire pit w/ 10 Adirondack chairs and string lights, tire swings, swing, and two 2-person kayaks with 4 adult life jackets. Bring your own children’s life jackets; life jackets are required when using the kayaks.
We also have LOTS of wildlife. All the posted animal photos were taken on the property by me or my husband. So bring your camera!
The shoreline is a easy stroll where you can safely swim with no steep drop-offs. We do not have a boat dock, but Hickory Creek Marina is only 5.6 miles - where you can launch your boat. We are on the south end of the lake across from point 12 where the White River and War Eagle River merge. This area of the lake is MUCH quieter than the area north of us.
And the location is GREAT. You are within 30 minutes from some of the most famous attractions in NWA.
And while most guests want to hang out on the property...

We wanted a quick get away to Beaver Lake that had a place for friends to visit us and for easy access to the lake to fish and swim. This place had ALL of that and more. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the fire pit every night. We could easily access the water to kayak, fish and swim. The owners were wonderful to work with and communicated very well. They have an amazing piece of property and I am thankful they are willing to share it with others.
We had a great time!
The house and property were just as we were expecting and more. Lumina was very quick to respond to questions and very generous to let us swim in front of her house that was just a few more steps and less muddy. The house had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.
We had a very relaxing time with our family of five (three children under 5). The kids enjoyed running around ground, swinging and loved seeing the animal each evening. We got out into the lake some and I even caught a couple small bass in the early morning hours. The atmosphere was extremely relaxing and friendly to our kids. Lucinda and DJ were extremely helpful and available. We will be back.
We loved the Farm. We went to see Grand babies who stayed another place nearby with their six cousins. All under 10. At the farm it was my husband and self and 5 grown kids. Everyone had own bedroom and bed. Beds we great. Big deal. House was great. so original and comfortable. Fans eveyrwhere for comfort even on the incredible porch. Attention to every detail. The property is huge and plenty of room to play , run, sports. They have kayaks and walk in beach good enough for little ones to build sand castles. And a huge firepit. No Dock for boat if you have one but husband was lucky and able to get a spot at local marina. The owners said we could also put boat up in cove but dock was easier. You're on and uncrowded part of lake so you dont hear boats constantly. Very tranquil and beautiful. Our family has stayed at many VRBO's. This was one of the best. It is a little out of was which is obviously what we were looking for during pandemic. But still sent couple kids to Zaxby's on night to bring back and no bog deal. Took like 30 min. Best thing about house is Lucinda left us a homemade apple cake. Delicious. Never been greeted like that. Second, check out book Lucinda and her husband made that's in living room showing all the wildlife. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
Lucinda and her property are top notch! The home was clean, well equipped for families, and very charming. The shallow shore of the lake was perfect for young kids to swim, throw rocks, wade, and explore. The grounds were very well maintained and even had mowed walking trails for morning or evening walks. We enjoyed using the kayaks, rocking on the front porch, and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. Our group had four adults and six young kids and we all had plenty of space inside and out. We also really loved the location. It’s within twenty minutes to several awesome family parks and experiences. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this home to anyone wanting a relaxing retreat. Our experience with Lucinda and her property was the definition of hospitality and we can’t wait to return!
Such a picturesque and peaceful place! HIGHLY recommend
Our second time at the Farmhouse. It is a beautiful, relaxing, welcoming place. We loved kayaking, grilling out by the fire pit, and playing games around the table. Can’t wait to come back next year!
Everything was wonderful.
The farmhouse Lakehouse was a great time. House has been completely remodeled and is very comfortable and the location is right on the lake. Very private and lots of room to enjoy the inside and outside space.
