This was our groups 2nd stay here and we had a great time again. The house is always stocked with all the things we need, the property is beautiful, I can't even count the hours the kids spent on the lake. Screen porch was perfect for adults to play games. More beds then we could ever need. We are already in the process of booking for next year.

This was a beautiful property and was incredibly relaxing. We had a whole family stay here and everyone was comfortable and able to do multiple activities in close proximity! The kitchen had plenty of counter space for prepping meals, and the outdoor sitting areas were perfect for morning coffee and conversation.

Or group included 15 people and there was room for everyone. Large rooms and plenty of outdoor space. Sand bottom to the lake and plenty of toys and equipment. We have scheduled another stay for next year.

This was the perfect place for our family vacation! We had 8 adults and 12 kids ages 4-16. The lake is absolutely beautiful, the home is spacious and welcoming. The 3 season porch was a perfect space to have morning coffee and visit with others who were early risers. The kitchen was well equipped and the garage had everything you could want for the lake. We enjoyed the 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, paddle boat, canoe and Lilly pad, and we were grateful for the large supply of lifejackets of all sizes. The walk down to the lake is a bit steeper than we expected, but was manageable if you don’t run. We enjoyed campfires and were glad lawn chairs were provided also. We enjoyed fishing too. It was so fun to watch the fish by the dock in the super clear water. One highlight of our trip was floating down the Namekagon River from Earl Park Landing to Trego Park Landing. We brought our own tubes and air pump to air them up. We went on a Monday afternoon when the river wasn’t so busy. It took about 3 1/2 hours for the journey. We saw a fair amount of wildlife and got plenty of sun. But it was so relaxing. We also had supper at Nick’s La Cabana in Spooner! We called to give them a heads up since we were a group of 20. They have something on the menu for everyone! We were in and out in 1 hour, bellies full, leftovers in hand and smiles on our faces! Our hosts were fantastic and answered all our questions! Oh the beds were comfy too!

Fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and had plenty of room for our family get together. We were able to check out the lake even though the dock wasn't in. We sat on the deck overlooking the lake and enjoyed the unreasonably warm weather. We got to enjoy some of the local parks and restaurants before they got too busy for the summer. The bakery in town was a big hit! Our hosts were wonderful and shared lots of information with us before we got there. We were greeted by the family goat, Jeremy. There was so much to do in the cabin that we didn't get to do because we were outside the whole weekend! We truly enjoyed our weekend!

We had a good time at your home. Big enough for the 19 of us. The basement was a little musty. The bunk room in the basement would work more for kids. The open concept was wonderful. We had a great time outside. The lillypad was a hit.

Loved staying here! The kitchen is well stocked with supplies, the bedrooms are thoughtfully furnished and comfortable, and the quiet lake was the perfect backdrop for each moment spent at Valerie’s Lake home! We had ample space in the house for our guests to have privacy as well as together time sharing food and games. We visited downtown Spooner on two of four days for shops and dining out, and I was surprised to find such great options that I just kept wanting to go back! Nearby hiking trails were unique and very enjoyable. Overall, would really recommend staying here if you’re looking for a home away from home.

Little slice of heaven is just what we needed for a getaway. Right on the water. The porch was perfect at night for listening to the loons and relaxing. And during the day to just stare at the beautiful Lake Tozer. We loved swimming and paddling around the lake. The house perfectly accommodates space for board games and cards. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need. The host was responsive and friendly. I would highly recommend this spot and hope we're lucky to return some day as well.

It was a lovely experience spending time in that lake house for a family reunion. The house is super spacious, so you can l read a book in the living room and still have a whole window to look out and appreciating the lake view, or you can sit down at the porch and contemplate the birds singing and enjoying nature altogether. There is a nice ramp down the lake for fishing, sitting with great access to the water, where you can swim, go kayaking, paddle boarding or just float away. My best memory from the family reunion was meeting the whole family in the middle of the lake (without even planning it). Some members went to the middle of the lake on the pontoon boat, some were kayaking, some were paddle boarding, some were just hanging out on the lily pad. When we all met, people were coming up to the boat and jumping into the water and everyone was laughing and having the times of their lives, while challenging each other to jump and swim for a bit ( We all had the life vests on). Then, family members exchanged their mean of transportation and went back to shore. Along with the great meals we had together as a family ( The kitchen had plenty space for meal preparation and the fridge was great to store all the food we had brought for the week). The rooms were very comfortable and homey. I will definitely go back there to enjoy more time with my family and friends and make priceless memories at that cute piece of heaven in Wisconsin.

We stayed at this home over the holidays and surpassed all of our expectations as the perfect place to create family memories. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the utensils for cooking our holiday favorites. The rooms were comfortable and the we really enjoyed the combined living room and dining areas with two large tables to fit our extended family not only for meals but also for board games/card tournaments to keep the kis away from their phone/ipad screens. The gas fireplace was also a nice touch to wind down with a hot chocolate or one of Wisconsin's famous old fashioneds. Equally satisfying was the proximity to downtown Spooner. What a amazing charm for a small town! We were impressed with main street's options for galleries, shops and eateries. The best meal we had was at the Round Man Brewery but snacks and The Dock Cafe, Pizzas and burgers at The Station and the fare at the Tony's Riverside was great. We also loved that the local supermarket was open 24 hours a day. If you are looking for a great option for a large house for extended family or groups of friends this home is the perfect option in the perfect location.
