Lakefront Vacation Rental ~ 10 Mi to Shipshewana!

As with all rentals not everything was perfect. However, the one issue was handled quickly and that is what is important. Thank you Sara. We would definitely stay again, highly recommend.

The cottage looked exactly as it was presented on Verbo! The lake behind the cottage was wonderful. Beautiful sunset!

Beautiful setting.

Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. I did bring my cast iron skillet and gridle. Bathrooms needed more towels thank godness i brought more. Next time, i will need to bring more trash bags because they only left us 2. Bedrooms were comfortable and living space was just as comfortable.

Everything was lovely. The rental was perfect for our family. The teenagers had their own living space and the adults stayed in the main house. I was able to cook all of our meals for the 4 days we were there. The stay was so good that my son had be to book the house again for the Summer time. We decided also every Christmas we will make it a tradition to come back to this particular Lakehouse.

Our stay was short but we enjoyed this place! Only a few suggestions for convenience to your guests, label the light switches and upgrade your internet. Very slow and cell service was limited.

We've stayed here before and love the lake view from the living/great room. The house is comfortable and spacious, has everything we need. It's a quiet location. We enjoy several of the local eateries and wineries when in town.

View was great. Everything in general made our stay very enjoyable.

Overall a great vacation. The house was clean and well prepared for our stay. The back yard/porch is 90% patio so very little room for kids to play. The location is also right next to the public lake access which should be noted.

Nice relaxing property on a beautiful quiet lake.

This property had a lovely view of the lake that we enjoyed from the kitchen as well as the main living area! The inside of the cottage was attractive with all the necessary things we needed for our stay.

Very nice! Property was exactly as shown in listing. Faucet on tub in main house broke or disconnected inside, was still able to use it, though.

Overall worked well for our family! The house and setting on the lake are both beautiful.

We really enjoyed the lake views from this house, so very peaceful. Perfect amount of space for us, would have been great for a larger group too. Pristine home! We saw lake birds, geese, and one day the swans even made an appearance.

We booked our stay last minute due to an unfortunate family event. We were very pleased with the accommodations and happy we were all able to stay together in such a lovely place. We do not get back to the area often. But may have to consider a summer trip to enjoy the outdoors and the lake.

Perfect escape for a few days. A little cold to enjoy the lake but the view was beautiful. Cozy by the fire place. The setup was great for family with older kids. There are 2 accommodations with bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. The teens stayed in the renovated garage with TV and foosball. The adults were in the main house with comfy couches, fireplace, and lake views. Everything we needed was available. Newly renovated.

We had a very nice time. View is great looking out front window. Second time staying here & very clean. Enjoyed fire pit both nights. Will definitely come back
