Lake Leelanau, Michigan
What's better than a lake house A lake house with your own private pickleball court. New court with an Action Floor System allows for hours of game time fun. Bring your own equipment or enjoy the use of ours, enough for several rounds of enjoyment.
After a game of pickleball, enjoy access to the lake with a boat rental or our kayak and row boat on site. Please reach out with any nautical questions about our beautiful Lake Leelanau including restaurants on the lake, popular sand bars or the best fishing holes. If you're too tired, take rest in one of the hammocks swinging in a cool summer breeze. This home offers many amenities nearby such as beaches, shopping and restaurants along with wonderful wineries.
Inside the home, you'll find a large master suite with private bath and walk-in shower. 2nd bedroom offers a queen size bed and the 3rd has a twin size bed. Large kitchen with island and quartz countertops. Spacious outdoor yard and patio to relax, BBQ and enjoy the summer days in northern Michigan.
Beautiful setting in the narrows which is the river that connects the north end of Lake Leelanau to the south end. Perfect spot to fish, enjoy bird watching and boaters. The property is a few short miles to Leland and Fish Town, Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor and Northport. Leelanau County offers beautiful beaches that stretch over Lake Michigan as well as our very own Lake Leelanau. Sleeping Bear dunes is not to be missed as well as the healthy amount of wineries and restaurants.
Beautiful place, weather, lake and community. We will be back!!
Beautiful home in a great location. We had fun playing pickleball as a family too! Great spot.
We had a lovely almost 2 week stay here. The cottage is in a fantastic location, close to the restaurants and grocery store in Leelanau, less than 10 min from Fishtown and about 20 min from Glen Arbor. Also very close to Suttons Bay and TC! There are several wineries/tasting rooms close to the house as well. The property is well-stocked if you want to cook; the owners have thought of pretty much everything. The home has been really tastefully renovated and is open and airy. The backyard is huge with plenty of room to run around. We fished off the dock a lot and caught a ton of little perch. Only two negatives: no washer/dryer so we did go to the laundromat in Suttons Bay a couple of times. But we were also provided with extra linens for our stay. Also no AC, which was only a problem the first day we arrived when it was unusually hot at 90 degrees outside. Otherwise, opening the windows created a nice cross breeze and it was never an issue on other days! The boat dock is convenient, although the water is quite shallow and may be a problem for certain boats (our rental Axis included) but pontoons and most other boats are fine I’m sure. This is an outstanding property that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay on Lake Leelanau. Thanks to Amy for being a wonderful host!
Very well maintained home stocked with everything you need. Great entertaining space. The only thing we wished we had was a washer/dryer with the price we paid.
We had a blast. Awesome place. Wonderful area with so much to do. If I were picky , we would have loved to been able to use the boat slip for a boat. Also with 4 young kids, would have been nice to have a washer and dryer!
What a wonderful place to enjoy the natural beauty of the Narrows (and watch the boat parade)! Great location, quiet road, lots of outdoor living space, hammocks, super clean house, wonderfully stocked kitchen, games… I could go on and on. We loved renting a boat and using the private dock. Great place to kick up your feet and enjoy the peaceful narrows! Our host, Amy communicates well and answered all of my questions.
We had an amazing week relaxing in this home!
Amy's home is truly special - beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed for a great stay including a wonderful cook's kitchen. Not to mention the view of the water and the inviting backyard complete with hammocks and hang out areas. We have already recommended the house to family for next year. Thank you for a great stay!
The only drawback was the single twin bedroom. My relatives came in twos and I had mistakenly thought that there were two twin beds in the small bedroom. Fortunately, my brother in law was sick and never came to our gathering so the bed situation was OK. It is a beautiful, well equipped house on a less desirable part of the lake. Due to the location and number of beds, I felt it was overpriced.
We loved our week stay on Lake Leelanau. Amy's home is so comfortable, and her attention to detail and the design choices make the home so inviting. The home is also only about 20 minutes from countless beaches and adorable small towns. We loved exploring the area, going on many breathtaking hikes, and taking in many amazing sunsets. The time we spent on Lake Leelanau will always be treasured.
