Absolutely fabulous as always!
Nice location. Centrally located to the surrounding towns.
Quiet and convenient to meals, wine, fruit, and fishing.
Great place and location!
The location of the house was perfect for us to visit friends and relatives in the area. The house has a large bathroom and wonderful anemies.
Spent a week here with my wife and little dog. Nice, quiet neighborhood, with easy walk within the village to grocery, bars, wineries, restaurants and Leelanau Narrows. Property was clean and functional; fenced yard was great for the dog and us - we enjoyed mornings on the patio with coffee and spent an evening by the fire pit. Didn't use the upstairs - stairs are kind of steep. Location was great for visiting the wineries in Leelanau, and short, 5-minute drive to Sutton's Bay and Leland. Drove five minutes in the morning to Thompson Beach on Lake Michigan for morning walks with the dog. Overall, I would recommend this property, and will likely consider it again when visiting the area.
My mom and I had a great time staying here. The cottage is in a perfect location, in a small village that is walkable with a few restaurants and wineries you can walk to. Also, a grocery store down the street too that stays open until 8 pm. Plus, near a bunch of beaches and not only Lake Michigan, but Lake Leelanua too. Lots to do in this area. The chihuahuas enjoyed the vacation too -- they loved the big backyard. We definitely plan to visit again and stay at this property.
We absolutely loved our stay at this charming cottage!! Full kitchen, large bathroom, and short walk to grocery and restaurants in Lake Leelanau Village. Perfect for our family and teenager. The owners are very hands-on and responsive. When I left an article of clothing behind, they graciously offered to mail back to me. We cannot wait to go back again!!
Annual Memorial Day ladies weekend. This lovely home has everything you need including proximity to all the local attractions. Close to water, shopping, wineries, restaurants and breweries. Lovely backyard with fire pit that we used every night. A very large bathroom and 4 bedrooms. Lovely kitchen and living room. Just perfect! We hope it is available next year!!!
This cute little cottage was in a perfect location for a getaway to Traverse City and the attractions of Michigan’s Leelanau Peninsula.
Fabulous as usual!
Great location with easy trips to glen arbor, maple city, Leland, Sutton’s bay, and TC. Lake Leelanau was nice too. House was adoptable, clean, and had everything we needed for a weekend fall color getaway.
We had a lovely stay at this property. It was so clean and very comfortable. Location was perfect for us. Quick and easy walk to Lake Leelanau restaurants and little grocery store. Super close drive to Leland and Suttons Bay. It was colder than usual for our trip, but the cottage was warm and cozy. Communication with the owners was great too. Would definitely stay here again.
Always a good time
We had a great time staying in this home. there were plenty of bedrooms for all of us to sleep comfortably. We are a party of Mom, Dad, 3-year-old, 1-year-old, Grandma and Josie. I slept upstairs, it was very comfortable, just be aware of the low ceiling coming up and going down the stairs. The kitchen was well equipped, and the house was very clean, and that trick bathroom door handle provided for lots of laughs. ;) The host is reachable if you need anything and will respond promptly to your questions or concerns. This house is located close to several wineries and just a short drive to Suttons Bay, and a 30-minute ride to Traverse City. Your greatest selection of restaurants nearby will be in Suttons Bay. If you stay at this house, I will only caution you about the strip of wood that transitions the kitchen to the living room, it's like a tiny ramp and it's very slippery. It didn't matter if I had socks, bare feet or rubber soled slippers on, I slipped on it several times and even fell once. The owner may want to think about some sort of gripping strips there, it may not be aesthetically pleasing but may help prevent others from falling and getting hurt. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and we would love to come back and stay again! Great property!!
Excellent stay as always, brings complete relaxation!
The home was clean and well stocked with necessities for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the fenced in back yard for our small dogs to play and run off some energy.
This was a really nice place to stay. We have 3 kids and a dog and it worked out perfectly, we didn’t even use 2 of the bedrooms. Plenty of sleeping space. Cute little town but we found out the hard way that you need reservations at Nittolos so plan ahead if you want to eat there. House was well equipped with everything we needed. Would stay again for sure.
We really enjoyed our stay and the house was in a great location to see so many great things. We really enjoyed the fenced yard and having multiple bedrooms for our kids to enjoy. Great communication with the owners and we hope to return again!
Stayed for a week w/ our dog and four-year-old twins. Charming place and in the best location you can imagine. Spent lots of time all over the county. Will return.
Thank you for sharing Provemont Cottage. It was centrally located in the area we wished to explore. Leelanau itself was a pleasant surprise - we enjoyed what the town offered & its friendly people. Good food lots of wine and fun!
