Nice cozy cottage right on the water. Loved it!
This was our 2nd year staying andcwe had a wonderful time! Diana is amazing to work with and the cottage and property are always clean and super comfortable.
My mother, brother, and I had an excellent time at the hideout. It's tucked away on Lake Leelanau and is the perfect spot to explore the Leelanau Peninsula. The only caveat is the bedrooms with bunk beds do not have 3 prong outlets, so if you're bringing a computer or any other device which needs a ground, you may want to bring an adapter or charge elsewhere in the cabin.
The cottage is wonderful. It is truly a hideout...lots of privacy. Location is great...sunrise in the patio or deck is a memory that will be cherished. Will recommend to friends
Great location to biking trails, Pickleball, wineries and shopping. We were able to kayak right from the cottage. Great shoreline and swimming spot. Cottage was cozy.
This is a very pleasant, clean, well-maintained cottage on wonderful Lake Leelanau. The kitchen was well-stocked with what we needed to cook, the mattresses are great, and we enjoyed kayaking on the lake and hiking on nearby trails. We would definitely rent this cottage again.
Just as advertised.
We LOVED our stay! The cabin was very clean and had so many cool wood features..those bunk beds are beautiful! We had absolutely everything we needed there including charcoal and bundles of wood. We did replace what we used but was awesome it was there for us. We very much lucked out with the weather being sunny and 70's for the few days we stayed in October! We had so much fun on our down time from touring the wineries and views by hanging out there playing corn hole and games in the game room and a bit of fishing off shore. This was our 1st time staying in an air bnb and our experience couldn't have been better ? Also, thank you for the chips and cherry salsa..it was delicious! We are very much looking forward to staying there again.
We had an amazing time. Location was perfect for day trips to Leland, Sutton's Bay, Northport, Sleeping Bear Dunes and Glen Harbor. Great drive through all the changing leaves. Property was clean, well equipped, excellent communication with the host and over all an awesome place iwth an amazing view.
Everything was as said. We would definitely stay here again
This cabin is nestled in the woods with frontage on Lake Leelanau. We enjoyed the amenities of modern living while also enjoying the cabin decor. The outdoor areas were perfect with kayaks, hammock, deck, dock and fire pit all being used by us. Communications with managers was outstanding. Alarm for septic did go off during our stay which was very alarming but quickly handled after a call to property contact. They were most helpful in ensuring that we were able to watch our Chiefs football games, so much appreciated! Saw lots of wildlife including a Bald Eagle while I sat on the couch looking out at the lake. Great stay, thank you!!!
Easy communication with property owner. Outside shower great! Extra amenities, well stocked. Great for families!!
I can't say enough good things about this property and our time here! To begin with, everything is exactly as advertised. The cabin has a wonderful rustic feel while also sporting modern creature comforts like a well-stocked kitchen, central heating/cooing, and Wi-Fi internet. My only issues with the cabin itself are that one bedroom and one bathroom are a bit small, and it's necessary to pass through one of the bedrooms to get from one end of the cabin to another, unless you go outside and use the side door. This makes it a bit awkward if you want to move through while someone is sleeping in that room. But these issues are very minor and easily overlooked given everything else the property has going for it. The location was great—secluded, with lakefront access, and also close to a number of points of interest in the Traverse City/Sleeping Bear Dunes area. Finally, the host was communicative, helpful, and went out of her way to make us feel welcome at the cabin. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a quiet lakeside getaway with a rustic feel!
We have been coming to the glen arbor area for a long time and found this to be one of our 2 favorite places we've stayed. It's bigger than the pictures make it look, and nicer too. The hosts are extremely responsive. It's a very private and quiet part of the lake, and very easy to drive to Leland or Sutton's Bay for anything you need. Highly recommend
Loved the cottage and. Surrounding.area. Worked out perfectly. Thanks
