Lakefront home w/recreation room, hot tub, central AC, WiFi, private dock, & W/D

We just spent our fourth vacation at the Peter’s house at Bass Lake. It’s our favorite place!

It was the worst experience we have ever had at Bass Lake and we have been taking family vacations there for over 20 years. Half of our family got sick from food poisoning less than 48 hours upon arrival. There was 12 of us staying in the house. It was due to the refrigerator in the home not working properly. Therefore, resulting with bacteria contaminating our food. Vacasa was notified, sent someone out the FOLLOWING day and he looked at it and said, he was unable to fix it. It was a sub-zero refrigerator. They then brought a filthy beat up “replacement mini refrigerator,” that would only hold our lunch leftovers and a gallon of milk. Apparently it was known the refrigerator was having issues…so why was it not replaced or fixed before they rented this home? Unfortunately, we vacated the property early, as soon as everyone was able to travel forfeiting the rest of our vacation week. It was a real disappointment that Vacasa kept wanting to throw an insulting 444 refund after we had paid thousands of dollars. In the last two years the rental price has doubled. We were very displeased with Vacassa. When Century 21 was handling the rentals we never had a problem.

Perfect location, lovely home. Lots of room to be together, work in the kitchen together with open and inviting home, yet room to have some private space when needed. Grand kids loved the 2 swings on the front deck. Private dock and waterfront made for a fabulous time with my family.

Amazing home with a perfect location if you are looking for a lakefront home that can accommodate a large party. Large kitchen and excellent layout made feeding everyone easy.

Great location with private dock. A/C was a nice relief from the heat! House a little dated but kitchen is amazing!

The house is in a great location right by the lake. There are 3 levels that have been furnished very well. The house is very spacious and easily accommodated our families. There is so much stuff the hosts have put up for the guests to use - a wide variety of pots and pans, kitchen tools and equipment ranging from can openers to a standing mixer, baking accessories, bbq tools, place settings, serving bowls, plates, mugs, bowls and a lot lot more. There is a ton of board games too along with a pool table and Foosball. The views from the house were absolutely splendid. Now, things to watch out for- The parking area is kind of at an angle and with the loose gravel, it might look scary. The parking spots are not marked, so we didn't know where we can park and where we cannot, but there is a good amount of parking spots. The hot tub wasn't working, there were no operating instructions, we did find a manual from one of the drawers and found out there was some issue with it, as it was flashing an error code FLO, which meant there was an obstructed water flow and wouldn't heat. Everyone was looking forward to enjoying in it, but it wouldnt heatup the water. I informed the host that evening but didn't get a response until the day after, later they claimed it is working, not sure what went wrong. They wouldn't refund the hot tub fee as well and said we needed to check everything if it was working on the day we check in. Lesson learned I guess for us. One of the dining tables seem to have been heavily beaten up in the past and has lost all of its connecting braces that keeps the table standing on it legs. We didnt notice it until one day it just came crashing down with one of our friends sitting on the dining chair. Luckily the kids werent around. The hosts need to check the furniture and ensure it is safe for usage. The remotes for the TV/Roku/Firestick were all not working, may need a new set of batteries, the TV needs some software update too, as nothing was playing without a lag. The wifi was spotty, it worked great on only some devices, but some werent even able to connect. Otherwise, our stay was memorable and we did enjoy it. Make sure everything works when you checkin and notify the hosts if you see any issues.

Large lakefront home that fit 14 comfortably. Views are second to none on this lake with plenty of deck space to enjoy them with the entire family. We were there on 99 degree weekend and the air conditioning worked great. We would love to rent this cabin again

House inside wonderful!! appliances & utensils beyond great! Front entrance!! + broken leg three breaks, Oakhurst one emergency was closed, had to drive to Fresno, St Agnes, no lighting! Steps dangerous cannot see edges! gravel steep parking, two people fell, one broke leg, two additional slipped, including me! Do not rent in current condition!

It was better then expected, the property is beautiful, well maintained and fully loaded with more than I ever dreamed!! From garlic press to a Kitchen-aid Mixer and everything in between it had everything you could want and need!! My family loved every moment of our visit!! Game room was fabulous, easy access to the dock and the lake. Very comfortable and more seating than we could have used!! Thank you for sharing your home!!
