Just steps from the shore of Bass Lake and Willow Creek Trailhead, you’ve found the perfect log-cabin retreat, offering all the comforts of home. Nestled into the falls end of the lake, you’re just 17 miles away from Yosemite National Park, 40 miles from Badger Pass Ski Area, and 50 miles from Yosemite Valley. There are also multiple hiking trails right at the lake as well as boating, kayaking, and swimming.
At home, you’ll love the majestic lakeside and mountain views. Sharing the property with the main house, your 900-square-foot guesthouse will enjoy sole use of the dock, beach, main house deck and grassy area while you’re there, and the main house will be unoccupied, giving you plenty of privacy. Inside, you’ll find a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and plenty of room to relax together. Entertainment options include free WiFi and cable, a DVD player, stereo, board games, and a ping-pong table. Fire up the gas grill for dinner and then spend evenings together watching a little TV, or step out to the deck and admire the stars rising over the lake. Rest easy in either bedroom before drifting off to sleep to dream of the next perfect Bass Lake vacation day to come.
THINGS TO KNOW
Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this, summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall.

We enjoyed this home. The view is stunning and the dock is so nice and clean. If you have a hard time going down steps then I would not recommend staying here as the steps are pretty thin and steep inside the home. The only bathroom is also only downstairs which is fine if you can handle steps. The master bed seems like a double sized bed. It is very small for two people. But there is another bedroom with bunk beds and a single. The kitchen is fully stocked with tools you need for meals. They had salt, pepper, oil but bring any other herbs you may need. The tv in the living room is a good size but there is no set guide on the remote so you have to watch channel 9 guide and then look for what is on. A newer remote for this newer tv would make finding channels so much better. Its cable tv and no apps. It is in a great location at the beginning of Bass Lake and close to Oakhurst and the Pines lodge. Great place to stay.
This cabin was exactly as stated. Quaint 2 bedrooms with a great dock. The AC unit upstairs was plenty for this time of year. When we arrived, a light was turned on and the AC was already running so it was comfortable on arrival. Great little cabin.
Beautiful property right on the lake, great dock. It was really a guest house to the main cabin but everything we needed. Be aware thst the air-conditioning are just fans but cooled off at night. Great patio and view.
What a treat to be able to stay in this comfortable lakeside cabin. We did not lack for anything. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and baking equipment and had a beautiful view of the lake. The living room was inviting with comfortable couches and seating. The downstairs bedrooms were comfortable and were relatively cool in the sweltering summer heat. We used the BBQ and deck of the larger house and enjoyed swimming off the deck.
