Lakefront home near Mammoth Cave

Beautiful location, fully stocked, and a lot of room for my family. I would love to stay there again!

Nice place. Would like to have known lake was still in winter pool and diwn 10-15ft. Made docks and getting to the water unusable.

We enjoyed the view from the deck and the porch swing from this beautiful home. The beds were amazingly comfortable just like a high end hotel. There were only 2 paddles for the kayaks so we never got to use more than 2 at a time.

Everything was perfect!

The house sits on a very nice lot lake front.

House was cozy and had everything we needed! The lake was beautiful even in the winter. The kids enjoyed the blocks and puzzle and the closeness to Mammoth Cave National Park was perfect. Highly recommend.

Ver spacious, homey and comfortable. Coffee on the deck over looking the lake ... wonderful!

This house was nice. Plenty of space for our family gathering. And the beds were comfy. We enjoyed the deck space & outdoor firepit. The owners were very responsive and added a nice touch with a Christmas tree in the living room. Only downside was that The neighborhood was a bit odd.

Everyone enjoyed the weekend. The house was exactly like the pictures. The only negative was the bed in the loft was full of dog hair. Other than that, everything else was great.

Our stay at this beautiful lakeside cabin was wonderful! The views were absolutely stunning, and the location—tucked away on a quiet street—made it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The home offered plenty of space for our group to spread out comfortably, and we really enjoyed the café just at the edge of the neighborhood - convenient and great food! A few small suggestions that would make an already great stay even better: adding a TV on the main level (a swivel-mounted one where the clock is above the kitchen table would work perfectly), including a few dish towels in the kitchen (if they were there, I didn't find the), checking the light in the left-side main-level bedroom (it flickers), and replacing the bulb at the rear entry on the deck. None of these detracted from our experience—it was a beautiful and peaceful getaway, and we would definitely return! Check-in was easy and descriptions accurate. For those not familiar with the area, it is a dry county so come prepared if you plan on a drink with dinner.

Cabin was very well stocked and beautifully decorated, it was everything we needed for a quick weekend family getaway. Would consider coming back during summer as the lake looked lovely!

This was great place with a beautiful view of the lake! We got lucky with really nice October weather to use the lake but we were only able to use 2 of the kayaks due to only 2 paddles available and 2 of the kayaks had holes in them. It was a little more off the beaten path then we expected but no the less we really enjoyed it!

Great space

Needs a good deep cleaning, lots of sticky surfaces, dirty oven, crumbs in the pantry and cabinets.We had a problem getting access to the lake because of a downed tree and a gap between the stairs and the dock. The owner responded that this is normal. We would have enjoyed swimming from the dock but couldn’t reach it from shore.

Nice house on the lake, 30-45 minutes from Mammoth cave visitors center(depends on who's driving). Lake is great for fishing, tubing etc. We had 6 adults 5 kids in our party plenty of room to spread out or gather at this property.

The property was as described and perfect for our stay. We were there for Spring Break and unfortunately experienced the historic flooding. But the house was a great base for nearby sightseeing and relaxing.

We had a great extended family weekend - everything was as expected. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors to relax together. The dock was not accessible due to the high water level (we knew that the water level would be unknown until we got there), everything else was wonderful!

Beautiful view of water, wildlife, and trees. Well equipped property with everything we needed to cook and store food. Cute deco - fun, stylish lake theme. Comfy place with more than enough room to rest, play games, watch movies, and eat for our group of seven. Convenient to Mammoth Cave (visitor center was about 40 minutes away).

View was great, planned to do some fishing but the lakes water level was too high to get to our dock.Not the owners fault though.Scenery was beautiful, the cabin was very roomy and nicer than we expected.Had a lot of fun around the fire pit with good friends. Owner has been in contact with me since the day I reserved the stay. I definitely recommend, and we will be back!

My family had a great time here. We have 4 adults and 4 kids and didn't feel on top of each other. My 4 year old asked if we can come back the next year. pros- very open living area upstairs- very cosy living area downstairs- great views everywhere- big and well furnished deck. - kids loved the kayaks- kitchen was a good size and well stocked- hosts were easy going and communicated well. - loft bedroom was more helpful than we thought it would be. - furniture was newer and in great condition.- yard had a nice flat area compared to most river/lake houses- no fees for my doggie- very cleanCons:- mattresses were cheap and not comfortablenotes:- 45 minutes to Mammoth Cave visiter center- Dock access was blocked by flooding, but not hosts fault and it was spring so we didn't need it. - Some reviews said that it didn't have a firepit. It has a firepit but its rudimentary, but it didn't bother us. We had fires 2 nights.- dock was pretty small. We were not there to swim, but if we were. It would have been a problem.

Very good. Great location. Some kitchen lights did not work. Dishwasher also did not release shop.

The stay was wonderful. There was everything you could want to have for a trip in side the lakehouse. The only thing was, in the basement room with the two double beds, the covers smelled of mildew. We chalked it up to the room being a basement room but other than that, everything was great.

This lake home is as beautiful and welcoming as the pictures show! The only difference (but positive difference) is in the pictures it shows on a hillside down to the lake which had me a little concerned traveling with children. However upon arrival I was extremely pleased to see the hill had been taken out, an area leveled and a retaining wall installed! Not only did this add safety and beauty to the property it also allowed for additional outdoor space for bochee ball or tossing a football. Plenty of indoor space and outdoor space with the two levels inside and out! The kitchen was fully stocked and equipped and had everything we needed. The single, only downfall was we were only provided with one trash bag. Normally we pack extras just in case and did not this time. A lot of extras were provided such as dishwasher tabs, etc but just the one trash bag. A slight overnight I’m sure and nothing I would deduct from a rating for. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Loved the space and the lakeview! All the needed things were supplied! Nicely decorated! No fire pit as listed in the amenities. Grill was pretty dirty and remnants from other guests caught fire before we even cooked, so we had to clean thoroughly before use.

This beautiful 3 level home provided something for everyone. We loved setting on the porch in the morning eating breakfast. We wish we had gave ourselves more time to explore the house area. If I had to pick one thing I wish there were TVs in the main bedrooms. Such a beautiful home!
