Lakefront Home at Rumbling Bald | 4BR, Game Room, Fire Pit

We spent a week at Bliss by the Lake with our family. The house was well supplied with everything you could need. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the paddleboat and access to the water (steps gave you a workout but worth it). Spent some time in Chimney Rock. Cute shops, great restaurants. Had a great time. Would recommend to anyone.

Extremely well stocked and clean with all the comforts of home! Nice layout for 2 families to spread out comfortably. Very quiet and peaceful little oasis. The location at the end of the lake made swimming less than desirable, but the access to the beach down the road was a nice alternative. Getting back up the driveway was a little daunting at times at well! Overall a great time was had!!

The deck was great, and my sister and I spent most of our time there. The property manager, Kathleen, quickly responded to our concern about a rotting board on the dock. It was fixed right away. The only negative was the steps down to the lake. They were made of stone, very uneven, and not kid—or senior-friendly. Unfortunately, I am sad to say that we probably won't be back for that fact alone. However, my son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter loved the dock. Highly recommend this property for younger adults.

You can really tell the owners of this property want you to have a wonderful time during your stay. It is a luxury experience that is more comfortable and homey than you can believe. The home’s layout really maximizes the space and makes great sense. Not only is it a beautiful house in a great location, but there are so many amenities included in the stay, beyond what you can probably even imagine. The Rumbling Bald passes were such a nice touch. There were so many pots, pans, and even ingredients available for use in the kitchen. We were continuously impressed by the things at our disposal. The closet in the basement has so many fun things to do. This house truly has it all! Our family certainly made use of the dock, paddle boat, rafts and canoe while fishing! We so appreciated being able to spend the week in this space.

We especially enjoyed sitting in the screened patio and watching the lake. Given the weather we couldn't use the firepit, but did use the indoor fire place; one suggestion is to bring your wood that may be drier (from the store), the wet wood will give off a lot of smoke. Bathrooms were very clean, basement looked brand new, Kitchen was very well stocked as well.We will definitely be back!

The house eas amazing and the best stocked VRBO we have stayed in. Had a little difficulty finding sheets for the sofa bed and trunnel beds. Lots of outside seating options / my favorite was probsbly the screen porch. Amazing to find such a nice place that was pet friendly. Paddle boat and canoe provided top entertainment for the kids (life jackets were provided) Pool table and darts a favorite of our High School and college kids. One bedroom was missing a tv remote and kitchen lighting a little dim when sun not shining Would definitely consider staying again because overall was an amazing experience

The home was well-appointed with everything we could need for our young children (think pack n play, life vests, toys, games) all the way through adults.The home was very clean and well stocked. We cooked most meals and never had an issue finding a cooking tool or utensil. Additionally, the beds were extremely comfortable, and linens were high-quality. After long-days enjoying the lake, having a great place to sleep is much-appreciated.The screened in porch was used from early morning, through afternoon storms, and well-into the evening as the temperatures cooled. Access to the amenities in Rumbling Bald were a favorite and the location allowed for easy trips up and down to the resort. We loved having a dock on bald mountain lake right out back as well as access to the full beach on Lake Lure at the resort. We loved our stay and will look to return in the future.

Overall highly recommend this house. Lots of space for our family of 6 We loved having the canoe available to us Every morning coffee on the dock in our PJs. Dock is pretty private Loved the screened in porch. NO MOSQUITOES yea!!! The fact that the resort is close by is a big plus. We went in the evening a lot All in all a great find VRBO.

This home is absolutely beautiful. Great views, plenty to do and a great place to relax. Host is wonderful! Our family would stay here again.
