Lakefront gem with game room and dock - the house that almost floated away

Very nice, clean, the finished basement is awesome! Close to wineries and Penn Yan. I highly recommend the property.

House was very clean and more spacious than it appears. The finished basement was a highlight for the kids! The house has so much storage between the two kitchens and laundry room. Made the storage of food/drink for group of 12 so easy. Location is close to Penn Yan and the outdoors has a variety of great seating areas. The only downside was the steepness of the sloped yard to the lake, a challenge for our 81 year old father. Much steeper than it appears in the photos. Overall, a fabulous spot.

Home was beautiful very clean and well equipped. Had everything we needed. The mention and bar area in basement was beautiful!! The dart board however did not work. Only other disappointment was the outdoor patio furniture was in poor shape with 2-3 of the 6 chairs broken or bent making them unusable. The hot tub was not in use. The chairs around firepit were also in poor shape. Only 5-6 chairs. There was not nearly enough outdoor furniture to accommodate the 11 people that were staying in the home. The dock pictured in the add was not what we had. Only a part of dock was set up. The other 2 parts were just the shell in the water and to large square part shown in photos w the ladder was sitting on the shore not even in the water. Had I known the outdoor items and hot tub shown in pictures were not going to be in use we would not have booked this property. We go to the lake to enjoy it and normally spend all of our time outdoors. If these items were repaired and dock was fully assembled would definitely book again. Location was perfect and very close to many wineries and restaurants. Million dollar view w beautiful sunsets!!

The amount of rooms was perfect for our group of adults and kids. The basement play area was a hit, and so was the access tot he lake. House was very clean, and had lots of parking as well as rooms for everyone.

The home itself is beautiful and this was the second time we rented it. However, the most important amenity and the main reason for us booking this home was the dock, and that was not available as listed in the property description.

Our 2nd time here means we loved the place!…came a little to soon in the season cause the dock wasn’t in yet and weather just a little cool - hot tub wasn’t operational but the house itself was beautiful!

The house was wonderful- spacious and very comfortable with gorgeous views. It had everything that we needed and was conveniently located to a variety of restaurants, town, and things to do.Was not pleased that everything was handled through vacasa(?) which took away from the personal touch aspect.Response to request was generic and checking out, I didn’t even realize that I was supposed to let them know (email read when I got home) til I was home - 6 hours later - so they’re cleaning team could get in…Home was fantastic. Other stuff was confusing

Clean, comfortable, well appointed, close to Keuka and Seneca lakes.

Very comfortable and it has a million dollar view

Fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, except facial tissues. Did not except the beds to be electric and the radiant heat bathroom floors! View was excellent. Nice firepit with a cover with his super thoughtful. We could have used a tote or box to put our wood in since it rained most of the weekend. 2 chairs need to be replaced on the patio as they leaned back crooked. We would definitely be back if we stay on Keuka Lake. Perfect home and abundant amenities.

Overall the house was in a great location. It was close by to wineries and village amenities in Penn Yan. Parking was adequate for 4 vehicles and 5 people staying there. The house layout was not as great as we hoped. The front door slammed closed if you didn’t remember to hold it. This was not ideal for any of the three bedrooms located within 10 feet of that door. The kitchen location also had the same effect for those sleeping in those rooms. The noise did not stop us from making the best of the week though. The water views and sunsets were great and the hot tub was a nice amenity. Renters should note that additional bathroom supplies should be brought with them. Toilet paper rolls were at a minimum for 5 people for one week’s rental and laundry detergent and dryer sheets were not provided. Shower on the main level wasn’t the greatest either. The rain shower head was nice but it sat too close to the wall and made it very difficult for anyone trying to shower. Another note… this house, despite being primarily one level is not ADA compliant and did have some issues with certain areas of the house (bed height, bath vanity, tub height). for anyone who is traveling with a disability, please consider bringing a step stool or other equipment that might be helpful for them. Supplies were not found in the closets that would have assisted in these situations WiFi was also not great for anyone who was planning on working during their stay. Several times there were connection issues on the main level of the house For the price and location this was worth renting and we enjoyed it very much. It just needs some improvements and clarity for future rentals to be aware of before arrival

This house was the perfect getaway to visit with family and friends. The house was very spacious for the 6 of us. The house was clean and nicely decorated. Looking forward to booking again in 2025!

House offers a spacious kitchen, large dining room table and two common areas. The upstairs sitting area has a great view of the lake. The downstairs area is a great hangout with a TV, full wet bar and huge bar. Extra fridge downstairs and a wine fridge. Lots to do outside. Two kayaks included. A working hottub. A great view of the lake on the upper patio. An outlook area to sit and hang out. A great firepit setup (except a mud pit area). The dock is big (a little rickety at the front). Only part that was a little odd was the upstairs loft access with a door that cuts off the kitchen when open. Highly recommend this house for 10 people or less. This house says it sleeps 16 but that would not work well.

We LOVED our stay! Beautiful home! Great location! Stellar view! Definitely a wonderful property for families, friends, celebrations and more! Kayaks were a bonus! Water is walk in entry!

Super nice property that was completely setup with everything required to have a great time. All doors could use lubricating, had to sweep down cobwebs around hot tub, both minor issues for an excellent location.

A beautiful home that felt like home. All the amenities we could ask for including a hot tub. Beautiful sunsets. Whether inside at the dining room table or out on the patio dining room table the view was spectacular. The washer and dryer was a big plus for us since there were five of us there for a week. Their Help Assistance Center was wonderful. Will definitely rent again and tell family and friends to check out Vacasa.

Overall great time! We will be back for sure! Loved swimming and fishing off the dock(needed a few minor repairs), basement was a hit for the kids. Back deck was a favorite hang out, especially at night and early morning lake views. Fishing was good beautiful views of lake. Nice fire pit down at the lake shore.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house had everything you needed plus more. The lake access was one of the best we've come across in the fingers lakes and the kayak was fun to use as well. The downstairs bar/game room was fun for the kids and kept them entertained. We also enjoyed the proximity to Penn Yan. We will definitely be coming back here! The wifi isn't great which is spectacular for vacation and keeping people off their phones but difficult if anyone is trying to work remotely during a vacation.

This house was very spacious and comfortable. The furnishings were stylish and comfy, beautiful view of the lake and landscaped property, very close to Penn Yan for shopping, plenty of parking, great swimming in the lake, eating on the deck and toasting marshmallows by the firepit. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect spot to meet up with long time friends and spend time together. The house and property was gorgeous.
