Super clean we just loved it!
Well appointed with thoughtful touches. Very clean, wonderful location. In communicating with the manager of the property, she was prompt to respond and VERY accomodating. We have stayed before and will again! Highly recommend.
Home was more than we had expected. Fully stacked kitchen, clean, beautiful surroundings, tucked away in the woods. Would definitely stay here again.
This was a wonderful property that had everything we needed. The home was clean, warm and inviting. Check-in was easy and property management was accessible and available, if needed. I can see myself renting this property again in the future!
We had a great time on this property. Very clean, quiet, comfortable, and relaxing. Beds very comfortable; well equipped kitchen; plenty of firewood. We will return!
Great place to stay for a few days.
Clean, quiet, roomy, and peaceful! Kitchen fully equipped! Plenty of wood for fire pit! Easy access to lake. Only complaint is they need a new grill. Otherwise we loved our stay.
Enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and fit our needs for the weekend. Loved the view from the screened in porch!
Nice overall property. We all enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful property on a quiet lake. Very nice big yard to move around on. It was a nice getaway.
This was a lovely house (super clean with comfy beds and recliners) on a 200 acre flowage that was teaming with wildlife (loons, herons, eagles, sandhill cranes, ducks and geese). We brought our kayaks and enjoyed exploring the other areas that were accessible from the flowage. It was quiet with very little lake traffic, and the water was super clean. The property has a great view and the screened porch was a great place to enjoy the waterfront. We often had the flowage to ourselves, and the loons swam right by our kayaks. We will be coming back in the fall- this is a great property!
We had a very nice time in the home, kids loved to fish off the dock and my mother in law loved the screened in porch. Overall great trip and very quick responses from the property manager!
The good- The location of this home is very remote which is part of its charm, it’s in a beautiful spot. It does take quite awhile to travel down unpaved roads to get there- especially if (like during our stay) the main road is under construction. We love the flowage and wildlife though so the drive was worth it for us. My husband and I and and teenage son stayed with my parents- the layout of the house was perfect with the master for them on one side of the house and the other 2 bedrooms and bathroom on the other. The house was clean, well equipped and in great condition. The screened porch and garage were nice features. Everything was provided from paper products to linens. It even had loon themed dishes! The guest contact Kim did a great job communicating with and trying to accommodate us. Things to note- Because of the remote location, utilities aren’t as reliable. There was a bad storm when we stayed that took out the power, water (no toilets/showers) and WiFi for close to 2 full days (45 hours). This house does not have a generator like many in the area so if you need reliable power/water plan accordingly. While the lake is not deep, it is a beautiful kayaking/fishing boat type lake. The rental does not have boats so we brought ours along and spent a lot of time on the water. The water by the dock is clear but the bottom gets weedy/silty fast. We brought our swim rafts and water shoes and enjoyed floating. (Especially the 2 days we couldn’t shower!) Overall we really enjoyed our stay- the only downside was the loss of utilities. (We made it work but it was more work than we hoped to do when renting a vacation house.) We would stay here again (and may) but it looks like prices with Evolve fluctuate quite a bit and are considerably higher next summer. (We have been accustomed to weekly north woods rentals where you can lock in a week from year to year with slight price increases- this company seems to price more like airfare with a lot of dips and spikes.)
