Stayed Mar 25, 2026This place has everything and more. Amazing hosts, great property. Perfect for a night, weekend, or whole week. Every detail that other Rental properties forget or overlook, they have taken care of to perfection. Owner even went out and bought bait and shared some tackle pieces as well. We ended up extending our stay because it was so great. Kids loved it, mom and dad enjoyed and felt relaxed as ever. We will return, even if it is just to visit this home.

Stayed Jul 24, 2025Our family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights in late July. It was an amazing property, clean, quiet. Literally a slice of heaven surrounded by sounds of wildlife. Cottage was super clean and spacious. Living room was comfortable. Beds were comfortable, shower's had great water pressure, AC kept everyone nice and cool/cold.Outside you we welcomed by the large pond, surrounded by grass, pines, and a small beach area. There is a table and chairs next to a large propane gas grill that we did use one night. Fishing was good although it was hot when we were there so the water temp probably made fishing not as good as it could have been. We still had a blast fishing and caught about 7-8 really small bass while there. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the hosts made sure we were comfortable and to message them about anything. Would definitely come back!

Stayed Apr 3, 2025Perfect stay. My wife and I were just doing a long weekend away for rest and relaxation. This cabin couldn't have been better. Clean, modern charm, big inside. Peaceful, quiet, beautiful outside. Only 10 minutes to the center of Oxford so we were back and forth all weekend. The house was so well stocked with everything one could need: games, sunscreen, bug spray, fire starter/wood, kayaks, snacks, tea/coffee. Our hosts were wonderful as well - looking out for us when we arrived to town late and checking on us politely when a big storm rolled through.

Kayaks, a paddle boat, croquet, fishing, binoculars for bird watching, a fire pit with wood! This property has been in the owner’s family for over 50 years and you can see the amount of love they have poured into it. Thank you Kathy and Patrick!! We would LOVE to come back!
