My partner and i stayed for a week and would like to come back sometime in 2024. The house was super cozy, with lots to do right there. The views of the lake were incredible, since the trees had no foliage and we were able to see far down the lake from the porch. We brought lots of wood and enjoyed warm fires on the back porch after dinner. The hot tub was clean and a nice touch on cool evenings. The owner was very responsive and provided a very detailed binder that answered any question a renter might have.
The house was very clean and accommodating. It's tucked into the woods in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed Watauga Winery (great pizza) and Villa Nove Vineyards for great wine and amazing views. The house had an outside fireplace that we used each night. Dollar General is very close if you run out of something but take your main food items as a grocery is far. Past reviews noted wifi was spotty but we had excellent signals. Would definitely come back again!
Absolutely wonderful stay at this home. Conveniently located right on the water. Tastefully appointed with wonderful decor. Just a great layout with plenty of room for three couples and two pets. Kitchen was well stocked. Great outdoor fireplace on the porch and an additional firepit. We also loved the hot tub. Open and quick communication with the owners for any little question we had. I highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you!
Loved our stay at this lakefront cabin, spend most of our time on the water or in front of the outdoor fireplace! Hope to return next year!
This was an amazing getaway! The house had everything you would need. Felt very comfortable and homey! We used the pedal boat and hung out on the dock. Also enjoyed just sitting on the deck overlooking the water. Peaceful and relaxing.
My husband & I have been wanting to stay on Watauga Lake for a long time when we discovered this beautiful home! Unfortunately for us the weather was unseasonably cold while we were there. So we didn't get to enjoy the lake but instead enjoyed the hot tub & fire place outside! Even though our trip didn't go as we planned we still loved this house & all the amenities! We will definitely book this house again in the future!
Beautiful house- outstanding views and amenities. Love the access to the lake, brought our boat with us and were able to explore the lake. Kids loved the outside fireplace and the hot tub. Would go back without hesitation.
We had the most amazing week here. We hiked some of the surrounding trails and visited local restaurants, but spent as much time as possible on the lake. My boyfriend got a Tennessee fishing license for the week so he would fish and I would take the kayak out for photography. The view of the stars is incredible on clear nights so we would watch from the hot tub on chilly nights. We saw a crane and three otters while on the dock. The peace and quiet and beautiful views were much needed. We both have demanding jobs so this was exactly what we wanted.
We went down for the races at Bristol Motor Speedway and had a great time. Since the races were at night, we enjoyed fishing and relaxing during the day in this beautiful home.
The house is very clean and just as described. There have been improvements made to the dock which made it much nicer to get on dock. There are a lot of stairs - not for the faint of heart but worth it.
Beautiful lake home, super clean and well equipped. Outdoor fireplace, Hot tub and firepit we awesome. Lake is absolutely gorgeous. The view from the decks make you feel like you are in the tree tops. FYI - there are lots of stairs to get to the lake. We were fine with it, but if you are older or have bad knees you may have some difficulty. Definitely make a reservation at La Cucina, delicious Italian food.
The house is as advertised, pictures truly are accurate. House is in a great location on the lake. No cell phone service at the house (which helped with a restful vacation) but internet worked very well. Bring your own towels for the lake and boat (if you have your own or rent one). Boat rental from Fish Springs Marina is excellent, we have used them multiple times. If you want to go out for an excellent italian dinner - make a reservation at La Cucina, about 15 minutes from the house - really incredible food. We enjoyed the quiet location of this house, the hot tub, fire pit, dock and lake activities. Good views of the water too. Beds are comfortable, house is very clean - a great spot for a summer vacation.
House is comfortable, clean and on a great section of the lake. Listing information is very accurate except bring beach/lake towels. Make a dinner reservation at La Cucina - incredible Italian food!
Beautifully updated modern home on the most amazing lake! 10/10
Would definitely book this stay again.
Had a wonderful time. The house was exactly as presented and felt like we were in a HGTV home. It was superb!
