Lakefront Anderson Paradise: Dock, Fire Pit!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, cozy and had room for everyone to have their own space but still be together. Kids loved game room. Kitchen was easy to use and well stocked with pans, utensils etc. it was fun watching deer. Even though water level to lake is low, we were able to feed the fish/ minnows from the dock. We look forward to returning

This property is managed by Evolve. They are difficult to deal with if you need to make any changes. In our case this was meant to be a family gathering with our three children and their families. My wife and I came down with COVID immediately prior to our trip. I had booked a 2 night trip. It was too late to cancel based on the “policy”. I could reschedule but every date I tried to reschedule required a 3 day min stay. The Owner was non responsive and Evolve can’t make a decision. I’m a VRBO premier host myself. I manage my own properties. This happens occasionally. I am able to deal with my guests directly and typically make exceptions to my “policy”. Not in this case. We ended up keeping the booking and instead of a family gathering one of our children and their family used the property. One other thing that was disappointing was the “dock”. Your advertising is misleading. A “dock” implies a place to park a boat in the water. The picture in the ad made me suspicious if there was enough water to dock a boat so I immediately reached out through VRBO at booking asking for more specific information about ability to dock a boat and did not get an answer. It looked OK on googlemaps so I wasn’t too concerned. The lake is 2 feet below full pool, probably above normal for this timeof year. The dock is in a foot of water or so making docking a boat impossible. This also made swimming difficult as well. This house is OK otherwise but the lake access is poor.

Really family friendly property. Easy to cook in the kitchen and fun times down on the dock. Really quiet area but close to supplies. Will reserve again in the future.

The location and layout of the house is perfect! It could really use a little TLC though. The carpets are super grungy, the baseboards kept coming off by the fridge and it was very cluttered and dark inside. It’s got a lot of potential but definitely needs some loving.

Wonderful property w dock on Lake Hartwell

The home is spacious and comfortable. Wonderful screened porch for sipping coffee in morning. The kitchen is well-equipped for family meals. We enjoyed the kayaks, game room and ping pong table. Fortunately, the water level was high and we could paddle right up to the dock. Three generations of family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year.

Clean, well stocked home with a partial view of the Lake. Many options to laze around including game room, covered and non-covered patio spaces. The access to the 2 kayaks and the boat ramp allowed us to explore the lake. The property was visited by a family of 8 deer frequently, which was lovely too. Also visited the beautiful Singing Pines recreational area on the Lake. Property could do with one additional 1/2 bath, though. Highly recommend. Would visit again.

The house was great for all ages. The ping pong table was a hit with everyone from the six month old baby to the eighty-six year old grandfather. We had wonderful dinners, enjoyed the lake view, saw twenty deer and made memories that will last a lifetime.

We stayed here for the Clemson/Carolina game weekend with several family and friends and had plenty of room for all. Great house with everything you could need.

Hosts were more than helpful during our stay. Wonderful place for a family weekend.

We had an amazing stay at your great home! Something for everyone and really enjoyed our time on the back porch drinking morning coffee and making plan for the day! Kitchen was very accommodating. All beds were comfy and cozy! I would lightly recommend this home if vacationing with more than 10 in your group
