Great location, awesome view (sunrises and sunsets were fantastic), sandlot a fun space for multiple ages (except on superhot day), extremely difficult for some family members to go down to water, house/furnishings have some wear and tear. Owner helpful.
It was great family memories!!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We were greeted by one of the Hosts, and given a tour of the house. She was very pleasant, and was quick to respond to any concerns or issues, during our stay. It was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked. The large windows give a beautiful view of the lake, as well as allowing a lot of natural light in. Our favorite part was the screened-in porch with the fireplace, to enjoy coffee and conversation on chilly mornings. The house was very spacious for our group of 9 adults. The one big disappointment was the couch and love seat in the livingroom. They were in very dilapidated condition, making it too uncomfortable to sit on. This made it unsuitable for our group to gather in the livingroom. Overall, it was a relaxing week on the lake.
Nice hiuse
Excellent
We enjoyed the surroundings and location and accommodations so much. We’re disappointed in the fact that the grill was unusable and the path to the dock was difficult to say the least
All of our expectations were exceeded in renting this property! Beautiful property and so peaceful. Plenty of room for our group of 13 adults and children to spread out and have fun, as well as coming together for meals and games.
Great house with amazing views and plenty of room.
Love this lake retreat! Plenty of room and lots of fun with the ping-pong table and the volleyball court. And then of course the lake was lots of fun, especially with two docks and plenty of deep water.
We stayed at this lovely lake home while visiting S Carolina for our son's wedding week. The home is lovely, welcoming and well appointed. April is a perfect season to enjoy both inside and outdoor activity. We are grateful for the accommodations. We live 3000 miles from here and brought family members which allowed us to all be together. The trip was a personal commitment for our travelers and staying here made it very homey and allowed us to share lots of time together. Thank you.
We enjoyed staying at this property. We were a group of ten adults and three children and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking at home. The grocery store was about eight miles away. The outside deck was maybe the best part! We did enjoy a fire on the screened in porch one night. The walk to the dock below the house is a bit steep and you are walking over roots and rocks before you get to the steps. There is a second dock on the property next to the house but I did not walk over there. My only suggestion would be for the pillows to be replaced. They are very flat and hard. This was a compliant from all bedrooms. A baby high chair would have been nice to have also. We had brought a pack n play but did not think to bring a high chair. I would rent this home again if we all returned to lake Murray.
