Lake Retreat with spa & private beach!

Wonderful, clean, comfortable

This lake house was perfect and had it all! We are very picky with where we stay and we were so happy with this rental. The view was amazing. I felt my shoulders drop as soon as we stepped outback. It was nice and shaded with the great view of the water where we could still see our kids on the sandy beach and in the water. The beach was nicer than expected and so big and sandy! The kayaks were so nice and even our son kayaked in the kids kayak for the first time. We couldn’t keep our 15 & 9 yr old out of the water or off the beach. No electronic fights at all! Fishing was great and even floatable and pedal boats were so much fun.It was very clean and had anything you could need. I brought a book but ended up reading a book that was at the house. Our daughter caught a turtle (instead of a fish) and we needed pliers quickly to save it and found them quickly right in a small toolbox in the pantry. The hot tub in the mornings with the view of the lake was also great. The kids loved the pool table & foosball also. Blake is a great host and all the little extras made it special. We would definitely love to return.

The property is beautiful, so clean, every detail well thought out. Loved the decor, the amenities and special touches the host provided. The host was wonderful, very proactive with communication. The beach and lake were so beautiful. Loved the kayaks and paddle boats. We loved fishing and just hanging out at the beach. Outdoor areas of the house were super comfortable and had a lovely view. Beautiful, comfortable, fully equipped home on a lovely sandy beach. Perfect for my young family, but would also love to go back for a couples trip. Had the best stay!

Such an amazing location (both indoors and outdoors)! Was perfect for our family vacation. The games provided kept us entertained lakeside and evenings. Blake was very accommodating and gracious. We would definitely stay there again.

I booked the Crabb Cottage for a week as our summer vacation. I brought along my wife and two children ages 4 and 6 and my parents who are in their late 70s and early 80s. I spent considerable time looking for the perfect place to stay and fortunately my research paid off when I found the Crabb Cottage. As the title of my review suggests, I have now added the word “King” to the name mostly because I felt like royalty staying at this cottage. Overall the property is pristine from the home itself to the private beach and landscaping. Blake is absolutely amazing. Not only is he responsive, but as the many other reviews mention he really has thought about everything you could possibly need. I have stayed at several rentals and they are not stacked like this place is. We also had a ton of fun fishing, swimming, playing pool, pickleball and the many other toys and games he had available. The hot tub, fire pit and beautiful seating on the decks are also fantastic. I strongly recommend the King Crabb Cottage for your next vacation. My entire family had a blast and we can’t wait to come back. I would love to come again in the summer but something tells me the fall and winter would be amazing too. Thanks for the memories Blake!

What a beautiful home! The landscaping was spectacular. We all enjoyed the sandy beach, fire pit, hot tub, yard games, and the kayaks. The visiting loons were an added plus. Communication was excellent. Thank you for a great family vacation!

This place is everything and more than you read in the description!!! Hands down our favorite vacation thus far and best VRBO accommodations ever! The house is immaculate and fully stocked with everything & anything you can think of. Every drawer/cabinet we opened had something in it that they thought we might need...you can tell that a great amount of planning and thought went into this!!! From eye masks & phone chargers to batteries & band aids...they had it all! I also appreciated that the staircases in this 3 story home had sensor lights on each step that lit your way as you walked! The outdoors were amazing! We used the kayaks & paddleboats daily! The dock allowed for fishing and just taking in the sights! Each tree outback was also lit to easily find your way back up to the house at dark. The responsiveness of the owner and necessary staff was 5-star! Our 1st floor refrigerator was not holding the temp. We reached out to Blake, he responded immediately, sent out Mike from maintenance (super nice guy) and we had a new refrigerator installed in about 2 hours! (There was a 2nd refrigerator in the basement level...so we just moved our stuff down there in the interim). We were celebrating 2 special occasions while at the house and Blake made it special by leaving us a personalized card, gift card & bottle of wine! This was greatly appreciated & aided in our celebration! Thank you Blake...for sharing your home! We will have these memories for a lifetime!!

We were so impressed by the immaculate condition of this property and all its amenities. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, floating and fishing off the pier. We grilled/cooked nightly and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were so well appointed. We have stayed at numerous rentals over the years and this one is at the top of the list.

It was a lovely property. Blake thought of everything. We could have packed so much less as everything was thought of and considered. The property was comfortable and spacious with lots to do. We enjoyed the lovely lake, all the toys and our soundtrack of choice withAlexa.
