Lake Ozark retreat with shared pool, private hot tub, deck & grill

The layout of the place is a little different. There is no bathroom on the main level. The bedroom was a little damp and lots of spiders found a couple on the towels. My wife did get bit. If you have any knee or hip issues there are lots of stairs to go in and out. Was overpriced for what it was. Beds are cheap and not very comfortable. The light outside the bedroom on the patio can’t be turned off either. We like it dark when we sleep and that light is a problem. Would not stay there again

This property was in a nice Estates location near a local pool with a small glimpse of lake view. Upon first reaction and walking through the home was clean and ready for visitors. I did first notice that the main living area was cool but not cold and a box fan was sat in front of the ac unit which was put on lowest temp and highest fan level. I loved the deck and having an outdoor space to eat or drink a coffee. The kitchen was fully stocked, I loved there was coffee and creamer! There was games and cards for entertainment too. Going downstairs to bedrooms and bathroom I appreciated the toiletries they had to offer in the bathroom. The second bedroom was small but served its purpose. I did not like that the curtains were not blackout and had sheer parts to it. For the main bedroom there was an immediate smell of mildew and the carpet felt moist or almost like damp without actually just getting your socks wet. The porch off this room was a nice touch but beware there is a camera off this door that was not dislcosed (which left my husband and I feeling uncomfortable and not getting privacy-- not knowing how well this camera could pick up sound like conversations and such). Also, this porch and furniture were filthy. Which was upsetting bc it was unusable unless I cleaned it and I was not cleaning a place im paying a cleaning fee already. Also, the porch light id automatic and BRIGHT and cant be turned off. The beds are low grade spring beds. Left my back and hips hurting by the time we left. I appreciate having the washer and dryer in the home. I did not like the lack of information or accurate information regarding the home and estates. We were not informed properly of what time the gates closed or the days they were closed. So had to either guess and make multiple turn around to back track through the resort. They also provided no information regarding when the hot tub was chemically treated or cleaned last. There was no information for the codes needed to use the pools. So when we showed up to use them the first time we skipped the pool due to heavy adults just drinking HEAVILY and being very vulgar that it absolutely did not feel kid friendly (we saw this as we were walking up and decided to leave before entering as my husband did not feel comfortable with our kids there). The next day we tried and had no idea you needed a code, so that was embarrassing. We messaged and had to wait for a code. When finally sent, it wasn't even the correct code. Someone inside ended up opening the door for us. I felt so embarrassed. But the pool is gorgeous with the best view! The report pools were super awesome to use!! We did enjoy our family vacation and had some of these other things been fixed or better I think the price would have been more worth it.

Really enjoyed the hottub and the nearby amenities. Very clean and had everything we needed.
