Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Buffalo Shoals Outlook is a beautiful, spacious house with views of Lake Lure and blue ridge mountains. We loved the movie theatre room and used the hot tub daily. The kitchen was very well equipped and a dream to cook in. Beds were comfortable and the house was spotless. Communication with the management agency was seller.Sadly, our trip was interrupted by Hurricane Helene and the terrible damage in Western North Carolina. We so enjoyed our visit to the area and hope recovery proceeds quickly for the good people who live in the area.

My close friends, family, and I were in town for a bachelor party and we loved the property! The home had everything we needed to make it feel like home and we were impressed with all it had to offer. The house was clean and well taken care of and we'd love to visit again in the future.

The property managers were extremely kind, knowledgeable of both the area and home, and provided the correct balance of support without being over-bearing. The views, the movie theatre and game room, hot tub, and BGE kept us entertained while not on the run. The unusual heatwave kept us from enjoying the firepit. We played golf at both Apple Valley & Bald Mountain, toured the Biltmore & hiked Chimney Rock, rented a pontoon on the Lake. We enjoyed dining at the Lake House, La Strada, Victory (3x), Legends, and Black Mtn Bistro. We found the location very convenient (5-min ea) to Rumbling Bald, Apple Valley, Victory Kitchen; 15-min to south-end restaurants and Ingles grocery (btw best vacay grocery ever!); 25-min to Lake Lure Marina/Chimney Rock.When we return to Lake Lure, this will be the first home we check availability to stay! Thanks for hosting us and helping make our vacay outstanding!

The home was very nice and well maintained. Our family enjoyed the setting with the lake view and many other features. We spent our nights in the movie room and lower level playing pool, cornhole, or cards. Great place for families with plenty of entertainment in the house and surrounding area.

Beautiful and spotless private residence with many activities to keep a family busy. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was stocked with everything, including spices. Kids loved the bunk room. Eleven of us had ample space. Super safe and secure. Easy check in check out. Wildlife was incredible by the firepit. We had a mama bear and 3 cubs visit the first evening! Deer and hummingbirds were abundant!A perfect home base to explore all the sites and attractions in the Lake Lure area.Recommend:Corn hole tournaments, s’mores by the firepit, movies in the theater, pool and poker games, coffee in the rocking chairs, cocktails on the balconies, climbing Chimney Rock, white water rafting in the French Broad, Hickory Nut FallsWe appreciate you SO much for having this gem polished for our arrival. The weather wasn't the greatest while we were there, but the house made up for it. Our age range was 4-58 and everyone LOVED the house - especially the game room and movie theater! It was so much better than we even expected - and we have very high expectations! Well done!!
