Plenty of room for outdoor grilling and a large lawn for kids to play when not down at the beach. Big Red lighthouse is just 10 minutes away along the beach and Sanctuary Woods offers lovely hiking & trail running and is only 10 minutes away (2 minute drive).

Stayed Aug 4, 2025We have been renting in the Macatawa area for 15 years. This by far met our expectations. Clean, modern and well equipped. Nice view of Lake Michigan from the patio. Super comfy beds and nice modern kitchen. Looking forward to returning next summer.

Stayed Oct 8, 2021Our stay here was excellent. Matt was a great host and answered any and all questions we had before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this house to any small groups of friends in Holland for a weekend. The short walk down to the beach was wonderful and the house itself was amazingly clean when we arrived. Next time I am in town and need a house this will be my first choice if it is available.

Stayed May 22, 2020The cottage and location are wonderful. Matthew was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. He is also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few night stay.
