Great location, it was perfect for our long weekend getaway. The property is very peaceful. Loved that it was so close to the beach...wish it had been slightly warmer so we could have walked more of it. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable. Phil and Jenn were extremely responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Would stay again if the opportunity presented itself.

Absolutely awesome. Nothing remotely negative to say. Peaceful, quiet, clean, everything you need.

The place was great! It is as advertised! Such a quiet area, and only 1500ft from Lake Michigan! And don’t forget to fill your water bottle from old Facefull an artisan well that had been running for over 100 years! Plus it’s 10mins from the Arcadia golf courses!

Property as listed with lots of room for more family. Host provided so much more than expected - even fresh eggs! Well thought out provisions for kitchen, entertainment, even adventure. LOVED location…..sunsets on beach, MILLIONS of stars, quiet solitude, deer wanderings in evenings. Definitely want to come back to enjoy again!

The property had pretty much everything you need to be comfortable and have your mind at ease. Well stocked kitchen, very comfortable linens and convenient location just off M-22.

We enjoyed the beach, hiking in the dunes, watching sunsets, visiting relatives and even stayed an extra night when it became an option.

The property was perfect for our family. It was very comfortable for reading, movies, or enjoying the wooded yard. The beach was close and just a short drive or walk. It was great to have biking and hiking trails nearby. We would definitely return.

A very tranquil setting best describes this stay. The home is much larger than the photos suggest, plus it was clean, and well-stocked with many items one doesn’t expect. The beach area was especially relaxing and there is a beautiful scenic road nearby with a semi-hidden public beach.

Had a great time, 10/10 recommend this place. It was exactly what we were looking for for a golf weekend.

My husband and I stayed at Phil and Jenn's place for a long weekend. The house is spacious and comfortable. The various porches, including the one screened-in porch, were perfect for viewing the deer that would come down the hill. Moreover, the location is just 1,000 steps from a beautiful beach, which I am adding a photo of since it was so perfect. My husband and I enjoyed our stay so much that we even added a day to our stay.

This property was great, it looked even better than the pictures. The lake was BEAUTIFUL and a 30 second drive from the house. This will be added to my short list of places up north.

Place was everything that was advertised, had the most amenities at a Vrbo I’ve ever been to so kudos to them I loved that probably most about the place! 5 minute walk to the beach it was beautiful was a little cold so we couldn’t go in, but definitely will be staying here in the future if in the area again!
