Lake Lure-Rumbling Bald-Large Family Friendly-No Steps 1st floor-Games/Playroom

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed getting away to the mountains with our family. We chose this home for the space and amenities, and it absolutely delivered. The layout worked perfectly for a family trip — the basement was the kids’ favorite spot, and they spent hours down there enjoying all the toys and games. Meanwhile, the upstairs was spacious and comfortable, giving the adults a great place to relax and unwind.The home was mostly great, though it could use a bit more attention to cleaning. We ended up re-washing the dishes we used and some towels, and noticed a few dead bugs under furniture and near doors. That said, it’s a house in the middle of the woods, so nothing felt extreme or unexpected.Overall, this was a great place to disconnect, enjoy nature, and spend quality time together. We’d definitely recommend it for families looking for space, amenities, and a relaxing mountain setting.

The host were quick with responses, very accommodating, and friendly! The house was stocked with anything and everything you need. If you have kids, this is the place to stay. My daughter had so much fun with all the toys and video games downstairs, and my 91 year old grandma had easy access to the first floor and porch. We will cherish the memories we made here for a life time.

Ample space for two couples and a small family. Traffic flow from downstairs to up for gathering required going outside or through a bedroom, a bit awkward. Young children enjoyed VERY kid-friendly space downstairs.Kitchen stocked well.

We very much enjoyed our time at this home. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance you can think of and the playroom even had toys and games for the little ones. The amenities at Rumbling Bald were great for families and we had a fantastic time!

Outstanding property for our family. Perfect layout for us, two adult children with spouses and their five children. Children loved the games on the lower level and the zip line swing. Dinning table worked for all of us to eat together. Extra bonus having Rumbling Bald amenities. Will stay again! ??

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay while vacationing at Lake Lure. The house was clean and well maintained and stocked with everything we needed. The owners were easy to contact and helpful when necessary. Highly recommend!
