Lake LBJ Waterfront Retreat | Pool, Fire Pit, Dock

Home was spacious for our family and kitchen well stocked so we could prepare meals easily. Pool was a plus, even though it was really too cold to utilize, and lake access ideal.

Great house for a large family to enjoy. Had an issue with the septic system and the management company had somebody there immediately.

It was hard to get a hold of them in a timely manner..the pool was dirty and the bathroom full of bugs

The house is very nice and spacious, very easy to communicate with the manger. The only real issue we had was with trying to get a rental pontoon boat at the house due to the large rocks in the water.

The property is well maintained and well represented in the pictures. Due to the recent rains, we could not go on the lake or use the level with the fire pit. All in all we had a wonderful time.

This home was most inviting and so well equipped! So many thoughtful extras, for example encouraging leaving unopened food items to share with cleaning crew or the next visitors! Contact with guest spaces representatives was immediate and helpful! My crew thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Thank you!

We spent three days with extended family. The bedroom arrangement was perfect and fit our multiple families perfectly. The driveway was perfect for parking about 8 cars at one point. The young children spent hours in the pool while the teenagers spent hours on the paddle boards. There were three paddle boards, but only one paddle. They were inventive and made it worked though. We eventually purchased our own. The older adults enjoyed the shaded patio and outdoor areas where they could watch the kids enjoying themselves. The entire family enjoyed roasting s’mores at the fire pit and spent endless hours playing pool. My only complaint was that the grass had not been mowed and was taller than my dog. Overall, it was a great house, a very quiet river, and perfect weekend for our family.

Beautiful property, very spacious. Looks to have been remodeled on the inside. Photos are accurate. Back yard are and views are gorgeous.

Overall the stay was great, and the home was beautiful. And my family and kids had a great time The neighbor was very rude on one occasion, and lake access wasnt what we were expecting. Managment were very responsive on issues as well which is a big plus!

Great stay with Family Thanksgiving. Plenty of space and everything we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving feast. It was too chilly to enjoy the pool but we definitely enjoyed the fire pit. Will definitely stay again. Thank you !!

Overall, this is good value for the money. The living/dining/kitchen area is great! Very well equipped kitchen, but bring some extra dishtowels. Some of the mattresses were quite firm, but if you like firm, that's okay. Lots of bright space inside to play board games or cards. Outdoor area is nice and would probably be nicer during the summer. It's hard to keep up in the fall with leaves dropping and plants starting to head towards winter. Lots of covered porch eating areas, and the pool looked inviting.

This property is amazing!! Big kitchen, plenty of bedrooms and the outdoor lake and pool areas are beautiful!! Would definitely stay again...we did not want to leave!!

Excellent property for a large gathering!

Our family makes sure to do a family vacation once a year. This is something that is VERY important to us. This year was another wonderful experience. We loved our house, it was enough room, and beautifully decorated. Having a pool was just an added bonus. The management was incredible and helped us along the way with questions and concerns. We will definitely be back. Thank you for another memorable family vacation.

As a member of a large family group, I was looking forward to spending time with my loved ones in a comfortable and safe environment. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by several issues.Poison ivy on the property was a concern. I have a severe allergy to it, and despite my best efforts to avoid it, I still managed to come into contact with it.The infestation of spiders and wasps on the property was overwhelming. Every corner of the property, indoor and out, was crawling with them.The dock was an extreme safety concern. The hazardous launch area and ladder had exposed nails, was loose and covered in green algae, making it difficult to access the lake. When we tried to use the paddle boards and kayaks, we found that the dock was slippery and unsafe leaving us with injuries. Boats nor Wave Riders were not rentable due to the rocks near property. The fire pit area was not well-maintained, with trash, cigar/cigarettes and overgrown landscapes making it difficult to navigate. The garage was accessible snd in plain view filled with debris, which was a safety concern.The kitchen was also not adequately equipped for our needs. The refrigerator was small, and the dishes needed to be washed prior to use. Open food in the pantry and refrigerator was also a concern for my family members with food allergies.The master bathroom had a low shower head and an unsafe tub spout placement, which made it difficult for us to use. Overall, our stay at this property was disappointing.
