House met all of our needs. We really appreciated the comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen and the sun room for dining. The boat dock was perfect and we loved having our boat on site. I missed the gate code listed on the top of the page, not in the directions but we figured it ok and Brian responded quickly too. Thanks!

We had an excellent stay at Brian's beautiful home with stunning views of the Lake and a brand new dock! The property was well equipped with kitchen ware, a new gas /charcoal grill, plenty of towels, etc. Check in and overall communication was A. Will definitely be staying again soon.

It was the best view on the lake. Amazing views. Our family had the best time boating and floating. Having the dock to jump and boat from made it more special. You need to know the stairs are steep but well built.

This home was the most perfect getaway for my family. We wanted to share the beauty of lake Jocassee with them and couldn’t have been in a more lovely home to do so! The views were incredible and we had everything we could have needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

This is the best rental property available on Jocasssee. Brand new 2 story dock. Spectacular views from the Devils Fork side of the lake. Only 1.5 miles from the park and public boat ramps. Nothing could be better.

Be sure to read the PDF Brian sends, because he adds some awesome local information. The house: Big enough for our brood of all ages! There are lots of steps inside and outside, prepare your calves for that. It's worth it, though! We had some issues with the A/C, but Brian was quick to rectify the situation. The lake and dock: The dock and view was amazing! We brought our jet ski, but be prepared for choppy water at times if you plan to keep it at the dock. We also rented a pontoon from a local company. Plenty of room for the ski and the pontoon at their amazing dock. If you plan to bring your own boat, contact Brian first. It's a very tight fit getting to the house and he would be able to advise on storage. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home and making sure we were taken care of, Brian.

Great location! Beautiful lake setting on one of the most pristine lakes in the southeast. House had ample room for our group of 7. Gorgeous views of the lake from the kitchen level as well as from the master bedroom. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with.

This vacation at Lake Jocassee was wonderfully relaxing and beautiful. The home was an older home as shown in the pictures but do not let that mislead you - we have stayed in the fanciest of VRBO’s in Key West and other places but when at the lake we want a lake house and this fit the bill perfectly! The home is very comfortable - all bedding was great - we were all asleep by 9 pm after spending the day on the dock (which was spectacular) and in the water. We brought our jet ski and rented a pontoon boat for the week which gave us a lot of time to explore Jocassee. The kitchen was well equipped to handle all our cooking needs throughout the week. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for the perfect vacation on Lake Jocassee!

Our family had a great stay at Brian’s house on Lake Jocassee. It’s the perfect base camp to explore the lake! The hosts were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We spent most of our time on the wonderful dock swimming, paddle boarding, or just enjoying the view. We will definitely be back next year!
