Perfect cottage for our weekend getaway. Fenced in yard for the pups was a game changer!

The house was very comfortable and warm in the rainy cold weather. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. All but one bedroom had a television, although we did not really use them. The location near Devils Fork state park is a perfect spot to enjoy the area’s amenities. Great location close to Devils Fork, house was very clean--- perfect for our small group of fishermen.

This is an ideal located property for Lake Jocasse. Very fully stocked kitchen with any pots/pans or dishes you would need. So nice to have washer and dryer and detergent and dryer sheets were provided. Really enjoyed the screened in porch.

Listing had a few things that were not the way it actually was. The fourth bedroom is in the basement and the bed is a futon couch made into a double bed where the listing said it was a double bed. The property grounds were not well maintained and the outside of the house had a lot of cobwebs. The beds and bedding were not comfortable at all. The listing also says it is a one minute walk to the lake and five minutes to Devils Fork State Park, it is much further then that and you will not want to walk to the lake as the road does not have walk or bike path. The owner was very responsive. This house needs TLC inside and out.

Weather was nice, Lake was awesome, got to see all the water falls, and even went to Jumping Off Rock.

Excellent location. Best lake experience ever. Our family loves to swim. Since schools had already started the lake was not crowded. We might do this again

Very close to devils fork state park. Great if you have a boat and want to enjoy the lake! We had 5 adults and used 3/4 rooms. Pleanty of space for us. Really enjoyed the screened in porch. Happy we were able to bring our dogs!

The house was comfortable and clean. We came with friends and brought our wave runners to explore Lake Jocassee. It was very close to the boat ramp and parking was very easy in the driveway.

This charming house was the perfect getaway for our trip! Plenty of room for our two trucks and trailers, clean and cozy with all the things we needed. Clear instructions for checking in and out. Minutes from the boat ramp at Devils Fork State Park!

Had a great stay with the pups close to the state park and surrounding hikes and ORV roads. House was clean and well supplied kitchen for cooking and basic cleaning supplies. Nice private and quiet setting.

Great place for family vacation at beautiful Lake Jocassee. Very convenient and accessible.

We had a perfect long weekend. The dogs loved the yard, the house met all of our needs and the proximity to the lake was awesome. We couldn't have asked for better weather or the convenience and comfort of the house. When we got off the lake tired and ready to go home and cook dinner, we had everything we needed right there. We had a great stay at Jocassee. House was clean, quiet, and super close to the boat ramps at Lake Jocassee. There was plenty of room for our boat. We even saw a mama bear and her cubs. That was a special treat! We will be back. Lake Jocassee has quickly become our favorite lake!

This location is perfect for Lake Jocassee access, it’s soo close!! Plenty of room to park a boat and the driveway wasn’t steep. We had a great time, the house is comfortable and has everything you need. The most helpful amenities for me were the coffee filters and washer/dryer/detergent!! We had two families with kids and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. Huge dining table for us all to dine at together. The host is very accessible and responsive. Another year of great family memories made at Maplecrest!

Wonderful stay! Plenty of room for 3 couples! Very close to Devils Fork State Park which was perfect for our all day guided boat tour of the lake!
