Beautiful view and a lovely property. Kitchen was well stocked with whatever we needed. We stayed in the winter when it was cold, but enjoyed our visit. Great beach area for a summer visit.

This home is wonderful! The view is perfect! This was our 4th time renting this home and we can’t wait to go again! The host are so welcoming and helpful!

Beautiful home on a private beach. Fall stay so no swimming, but the beach is a bonus! Kitchen well stocked. The back porch was great for morning sunrises and coffee. Had a wonderful time would definitely come back in the summer. The host was easy to communicate with. No issues during our stay.

We stayed two nights to go look at fall colors and hike the near by trails. Location right on the water was beautiful. I could see summer time with a family being a blast here. Kitchen was well stocked. We did not use the basement or laundry room, however that would be great for a week stay with kids to spread out.

We travel here to this home with a big group every year. We all have a blast. The yard is perfect for sports and for the kids to play, we are right on Lake Huron. The house is great to accommodate our group. The house has everything we need too, down to laundry and blankets. We can’t wait to come back again next year! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We prefer a quiet more peaceful vacation. Unfortunately, there was loud construction noise right close next door. Loud saws, large machinery moving and beeping loud when backing up. When I informed the host she said there was nothing she could do and out of her control and she would make note of it. It woke us up each morning and sitting on the deck was very loud. One day it was so loud me and my husband couldn’t hear each other talk. I took videos of how loud it was and sent them to the host. She said she was there last week and it wasn’t that loud. I sent videos it was very loud this week, I can’t speak for last week. She also said no one else complained and told me to go and enjoy the beach. Not once did she say she was sorry. As a host she was rude. I called VRBO and they understood and got the host, Vrbo and me on a call. She was argumentative and somehow got disconnected but never reached out to call me back. If she would have told me upfront about the construction noise and let me decide to book then that would be ok. Just a shame our vacation wasnt the peaceful and relaxing we wanted. Her listing says secluded it isn’t. We asked about if it was private and not many people and she said it was private, it isn’t. But we can deal with that but not the noise. The host was not sympathetic or said she was sorry once. Very disappointed.

This was a wonderful location for our family and dog to stay. The home was beautiful and the beach was lovely as well. It is quite a hike to the beach but there was a handy wagon there for our stay that we used to take things out to the beach.

The house was perfect for my family's get-together. The 8 of us had plenty of space and were very comfortable. And the beach that you just walk out onto is just lovely- very clean, soft sand, crystal clear water, and not many people. We loved it!

The private beach was a highlight—peaceful, well-maintained, and perfect for unwinding with the family. It felt like a true escape, even though it was close to home. The host was exceptional—friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay again!

We enjoyed staying here with our elderly parents (who are good with stairs). Gorgeous view of the lake, very relaxing place to be.

The beach is so beautiful and has perfect sand, with no weeds or rocks! The house is a wonderful location - close to Tawas, which is adorable. Overall, the house has plenty of space, natural light, super nice kitchen/living room area, with an amazing view of the beach/water. We noted a few things to the property manager and she was super responsive and ensured that the issues would get corrected.

Awesome stay, our dog loved the beach! House was perfect and had everything we needed. We watched the sunrise at the beach, which was gorgeous. The town was lovely, there were lots of great food options and lots of good shops. We will definitely be back!

Excellent location and very spacious!

We loved being lakefront and the property was great! It had everything we needed right down to salt and pepper. It was nice to not have to pack all the extra little things. House was clean but I feel it could benefit from a deep clean. Close to the downtown area where we had a lot of good eats.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The view was spectacular especially on the days we woke up in time to catch the sun rise. A beautiful place to stay to relax. We would definitely stay here again

Easy check in, clean place. Lots of options to enjoy the company of those you’re with. Property is very quiet and a short walk to the lake. Kitchen is generously sized and well equipped. Covered porch on the lower level was great when it rained, and the rooftop deck was excellent for watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee. We’d stay here again. Thank you.

This place was the perfect escape for our family. It was big enough for the kiddos to explore and also had a beautiful yard leading out to the beach that was amazing for morning walks and sunsets. Everything was clean and the space was welcoming for all of us, even our pup. Thank you for the perfect Easter getaway!

An unfortunate situation where the cleaning company never showed up after the previous guests had left the day prior to our arrival, leaving a dirty house, piles of wet towels, dirty bedding, dirty kitchen, etc. The frustrating part for us was that we drove 3.5 hours through a snowstorm on New Year’s Eve, only to receive poor customer service from the host. After several voice mails, text messages, and an email to both hosts listed on the property, Megan’s response was a text to us asking if we wanted to clean the house and do the laundry, and she’d waive the cleaning fee & 1 night stay. We were not in the mood to find a store that was open, so we could buy cleaning products. We called her and ended up asking for a full refund and she agreed. We drove 3.5hrs back home, through the snow storm. The next day we sent two messages and left a VM to Megan asking for the refund status – no response. Only after contacting VRBO (who also had trouble contacting the host), did we finally receive a full refund, minus the trip insurance we were required to purchase.

This large house is nicely furnished and decorated. We enjoyed having the option of sitting on the covered patio or the elevated open-air deck. The views of the lake were incredible, with amazing sunrises and so many brights stars at night. The location is perfect! The area is quiet and only a short drive to shopping and restaurants. We went on several scenic drives to places near the home such as Lumberman's Monument and Tawas Point Light Station. The beach (at the end of the backyard lawn) is clean and the water appears to be quite clear. We stayed here at the end of September so with the cooler temperatures we did not take advantage of the water toys or kayaks. We enjoyed everything about this property.

The setting of this rental is perfect perfect walk to a beautiful beach and perfect view very comfortable house

The furniture is old and uncomfortable. I was very surprised that a VRBO can be furnished with items that should be thrown out (not donated).

We loved the house, and the fact that there are 3 bathrooms for 10 women! The walk to the beach is a little long, especially for the older ones in our group, but a wagon was provided to help take our chairs and everything down. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were lots of folding chairs if needed for outside. This was our second time staying here, and we really enjoyed it!

Everything was Described as on listing. Except one small thing based on previous tenants fault everything was awesome.

The linens we not washed, all bedding had sand on them! Dust bunnies everywhere! Spiders on the ceilings. The basement has a very musty smell. Found an old dog turd under the couch. The remote for the main television does not work! Will not be staying here ever again!
