Lake house with private pool.

Home could’ve have been cleaner, the shower curtain liners were gross (such an inexpensive fix) and one of the mattress pads had a urine stain that was not laundered, there were more issues, but… We had no toilet paper or paper towels and had to ask for towels, we did ultimately find the towels in the dryer. Clearly, the property was not inspected before we arrived. For what we paid for the stay and based on the pictures on the website, we expected better.

We had a great time. The owner was great with communication.

This home was beautiful and accommodated for our family’s needs. The pool was definitely the highlight of our trip and everyone had a blast!

We loved the location. Out of town but still close to everything. The pool was amazing for the kids. It is a beautiful house. There was just some minor things. Some lights didn’t work one of the ceiling fans in a bedroom didn’t work. Some trash and things leftover from I’m guessing the last people that were there. Other than that we would stay again.

Great house, great location.

The TV was not working downstairs would power on but would not give any options for channels or anything. A blow dryer would be nice to have there but we did not find one in any of the bathrooms. But those are minor things overall it was great for our family that stayed and came to visit.

Beautiful property with spectacular view of the lake. Relaxing private pool to rest on hot days to catch up with old friends.

This house was in the perfect location and even better than what we expected. The house was very clean. I would update the pictures on the listing. The pictures look great, but once you are in the house, the house is SOO much nicer.

We loved staying at this property. The kids have already asked to come back sometime during the summer. My siblings and I all grew up in Hickory. My Mom is still there. My brother came to stay with my Mom for a few days. My husband and I and our 6 children rented this place so that we could be close while my brother was in Hickory. It was the perfect place for all of us to hang out and have a meal together. We loved the pool. Someone was always in a kayak. Fun fact: you can see cove that this house is on while driving on the 321 bridge. We played in the huge front yard too. One morning, Brandon picked up breakfast from Homers (Windy City Grill) while the kids and I played at the pool and on the lake. The owners were super easy to talk to and work with. I love Hickory. Everything about this house reminded me of all of the things that I love about Lake Hickory.
