Lake House Retreat- Sauna/ Fire Pit/3 BR Escape

Our family of 5 and two dogs had a wonderful trip to home on Lake Pepin. The home was well stocked with kitchen appliances and anything we could need to cook home cooked meals. We enjoyed the comfort of the high quality beds and linens. Walking to the lake was such a treat even though it was cold out. The sauna was amazing and we used it daily. We also truly enjoyed walking to Heidi’s cafe and the bowling alley. I can’t recommend this rental enough for anyone looking to be near the water and enjoy a nice relaxing environment.

The Casita by the Lake was charming for our vacation in Lake City. Patty was quick to answer questions, check-in was seamless, and everything was clean and well-labeled for easy use. The lake decor really helped us feel like we got away from the big city for a much needed respite. The sauna and sauna hats were a hit! Thank you.

The property is located right in the heart of Lake City, next to Lake Pepin! It's easy to get to and has a nice set up with an open kitchen to living room concept which is great for a stay with friends or family! The sauna is nice and the backyard looked perfect for summer hangouts (we were there in January so couldn't enjoy that but I imagine it's nice!)

Host gave great recommendations of things to do in town. The sauna and bath created a spa-like atmosphere. The decor was festive spirit lifting. We always felt comfortable and relaxed during our stay. I hope to stay again in the future.

We loved every minute! Made some memories and will look forward to returning in the future. House was clean and festively decorated for the holiday which was much appreciated. Highly recommend this property!

The host has thought of everything that a person could need or want. This was a self care trip and the casita had all the pamper things I enjoy. Sauna, soaking tub, walks along the lake and a fire pit for the cool nights.

Patty had a beautiful property, older home with ton of charm and personality. Well decorated, everything labeled- was so very nice. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone traveling to Lake City, MN - well done!!!

This was our first time renting this beautiful little house and have already rented for next year. It’s real close to a bigger house we rent but the family has grown and we needed extra room. Worked out so well for parents with little ones. Great communication and so friendly, thanks for a great vacation.

This home exceeded our expectations! Our family of 6 including two small children stayed here and our friends would come over with their 4 children. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax or sit together and eat comfortably. The location was right near the action and water ski events (only a block away). We loved being able to listen to the concerts with the door open or sitting in the backyard; but if we closed the windows and turned on a fan then the music wasn’t loud or could barely be heard. Also enjoyed the sauna! The retractable gate for pets was appreciated. The owner was super fast to respond and made every effort to make sure our stay and experience was great! And it was! We would stay here again!

We loved this house for our family holiday. It was close to the water. Every detail of the entire stay was wonderful. I took so many pictures of the house because it was so lovely. I think anyone who stays here will be thrilled with the experience. The host even left us fresh flowers!

Great place. Only have one shower for six guys was not ideal

We were in town for a Wedding in Red Wing and this was a perfect location for our family to enjoy a bit of Lake Life while we were there. We had everything we needed!

This was a great stay. Home was comfortable and met all our needs. Excellent location close to shopping and lake.
