Stayed Oct 2, 2025Such a cute motel! Appeared to be recently remodeled and has a fabulous retro vibe. We loved the proximity to downtown Lake City and local establishments including the cutest and delicious little diner Heidi’s Hug a Mug cafe. Further, we had a fabulous lake view we could enjoy on the patio in our colorful Adirondack chairs. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room clean. Our host was incredibly responsive as well. When we expressed a need for additional towels, they were promptly delivered to our room. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Jan 19, 2024Nicely done updated motel. Very comfortable & clean! Only thing missing was a little bedside lamp but certainly not the most important feature.

Stayed Sep 2, 2023We are ere very impressed by the cleanliness and convenience of Sunset Motel! Very cute, quaint place with a nice pool. We boated down to Lake City so we had no car and limited luggage/supplies but everything we needed was in the room….hair dryer, lots of towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner. There were even floaters at the pool for use. Would definitely stay again.
