Stayed Jul 6, 2025We had a wonderful stay at the lake house- Stephen was super accommodating and responsive. The house itself was well equipt and fit our family of 5 with lots of extra space. The location is perfect close to large centres and easy access to Schipol. Highly recommend this house for families

Stayed May 25, 2023Lake House 74 exceeded our expectations! We were a group of 6 - 2 couples with our adult children. The location of the house was perfect - just outside of Leiden, situated along a canal. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Stephan was easy to contact, very responsive to all of our requests, and made us feel at home. He also had great suggestions for local activities. Be sure to rent a boat and drive through the canals to get to the center of Leiden. I would stay here again without hesitation!

Stayed Apr 9, 2022I wish I could have stayed for longer. It's bang in the centre of some really lovely surroundings - vast green fields criss crossed with canals and just a stone throw away (or a short bike ride/walk) from the Vennemeer lake and the lovely windmills next to it. It is also perfectly located as a base for exploring South and Central Netherlands. We drove up to Giethoorn and down to Kinderdijk and everything in between. Keukenhof and the tulip fields (Bollenstreek etc) are really close, being just north of Leiden.
