Lake home on quiet recreational lake with hot tub. Close to Up North amenities

Had a great few days at Nokay Lake with all the property had to offer… appreciated the minor updates from our initial stay two years ago. The deck is awesome, the hot tub a bonus and the trip down to the water is still a workout. Appreciate the host’s responsiveness and open dialogue.

This was an amazing get away from home and the place was beautiful! The hosts were always available if we had any questions but everything was set up so well that I didn’t have any questions. I would definitely stay here again!

Just pack your clothes and food. They had rest of supplies. Owner very helpful and attentive to needs.

This house was beautiful inside and out. The lake was amazing! My children were finishing machines and loved the triple bunk room! Check in and out process was super easy and the owner is so friendly! We had deer visit daily and the sunsets on the dock were beautiful. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a lake house!

A vacation at this property is our new favorite anniversary tradition. I just hope I can continue the tradition next year.

The house is absolutely stunning and there is just enough of a lake view from the deck and front double doors that we enjoyed a few mornings sitting just taking it all in. The walk (or should I say stairclimber experience) down to the beach is a good one...made me think twice about making sure we had everything we needed for a little while and I'm pretty sure it's the only thing that kept me from putting on a few pounds over vacation. The kids sure enjoyed debating whether there were 97 or 98 steps down to the dock, though! The weather didn't cooperate as much as we'd have liked but we had two really amazing days where the water was like glass and we enjoyed the kayak, paddle board, and lily pad and all of us got a little too much sun while relaxing next to the fire pit by the water! The bedrooms were so cozy and private away from the main living space which made it so easy to sleep in on our more lazy days. The hot tub was right outside the master bedroom which offered us a late night escape after the kids were in bed, too.The kids loved having a long driveway and play equipment! And shout out to Britney's kids for sharing some great coloring books, games, and reading materials!The house was spotless, the host was super responsive and very kind. It's close to Crosby and Brainerd/Baxter so everything we could've wanted was nearby. Thanks again for an amazing stay!

We had an amazing stay and trip. Location is great. Close to biking, towns and on the lake. Beautiful views with hot tub and fire pit. 100% recommend.

It is a very nice house and property with a nice view of the lake. It is about 95 steps down to the lake. So be in good shape to walk back up. The amenities are plentiful.

Lovely home with all the amenities for adults and kids. Our kids had a blast fishing off the dock!

The property is out of town on a hill by a lake. Beautiful lake view from back deck, which was very peaceful to sit on in the morning and evening. The deck was also very well appointed with a grill, smoker, prep table, and ample seating with an umbrella. This area was the highlight of the property. The inside kitchen was well appointed, except we couldn't find a larger frying pan but made due and had plenty of dishes and silverware. Kitchen area had some house rules but some contradictory info in the book. We did our best to follow them. Living room area was ok and it was nice to have the roku. Seating was ok but was an awkward setup for our evening movie, the tv was very high. Main entry was nice. Plenty of space. However, there was not a handrail on the stairs to get to the main living area. The master bedroom was nice but no closet or any space for clothes. The other two bedrooms were nice KID rooms but not for adults. One room has only a double bed that made it difficult for my son and his fiancee to sleep in, it is not meant for a couple. The other room is bunkbeds that our adult daughter slept in. The house seems best for one couple with young kids. Getting down to and back up from the lake is difficult as there are a LOT of stairs with no handrails. We were disappointed as the beach is not really a sandy walk in type of beach. It is covered with larger algae covered rocks making it slippery and difficult to walk in the water. beach. It had huge rocks

It was a great time, super cabin, nice hot tub, but killer steps to the lake...but worth it.

The accommodations were excellent with all the amenities of home as well as water toys. Britney was very responsive. Fishing was decent despite night rains and hot days. We rented a pontoon from the local resort on the lake, which was convenient. Would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing time! The property was perfect. Our kids are ages 3 and 7 and they had tons of fun with the playground, toys, lily pad, games, bikes, and other activities. The lakefront was just gorgeous and we made awesome memories on the water with our kids. The paddle board was particularly fun for the adults to try. The kitchen was set up so well to cook and the indoor and outdoor areas were spacious to eat and hang out. We had everything we needed except more time. Hope to come back again!

This place really has it all! The cabin itself is a great place to stay with all the amenities that you need to really enjoy yourself without any worries. The owners communicate really well if there are any questions/concerns. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a few days away from the madness. Thank you!

This very private home had every we were looking for and more. I overpacked because I didn't realize how well-stocked it was. We loved it so much that we booked it again for next year before we left. We only left once during a 4 night stay and I was never bored; I especially loved hanging out by the shore with the dock, fire pit, and loons, turtles, and an osprey that frequent the area.

The cabin was beautiful and had everything you needed. If there was something you forgot they had you covered and if not town was 15-20 minutes away to go grab it. It was quiet and private, and had plenty of room to play games and chill outside.

Great place. Kids loved fishing off the dock. House met all of our needs. Host was available for questions. Would definitely stay here again.
