Lake Gaston Getaway

Nice clean place. Minor cosmetic issues that I’m sure they are working through as they update it. Good location on a quiet cove, a very short distance from the main lake, boat ramp and marina. Approximately 20 minutes from the Food Lion but there is a new DG Market about 5 minutes away. A lot of rules in the welcome binder, including no fishing from the dock, which should be disclosed before renting a lake front property.

3 different living room areas, 2 upstairs, 1 down. Separation from adults and kids if that's what you are looking for. Nice amenities inside and out. Probably won't stay here again because i'm somewhat handicapped and there are lots of stairs. But that's my issue, not theirs. You'll do well to stay here. Owner is very nice and extremely helpful

I can't say enough great things about our stay here! From the lovely home and decor, well appointed kitchen, amazing deck and patios, to the incredible boatdecks (2 story!) with everything you could possibly need to have fun on the water. This home did not disappoint in any way. The owner was so pleasant and easy to communicate with. We had such a a wonderful time and hope to return soon.

Everything was just as planned. The house was amazing and the boat house was even better. We had kids with us and they absolutely loved swimming off the dock. The location was great. It’s in a cove but right at the point so not far down. We really enjoyed our time and plan to be back!

The house was spacious and clean. Beth was very accommodating and made us feel welcome. We could not have expected or asked for more.

Nice a house and dock. Only downside was Wi-Fi and cell was very poor. Could not stream tv half the time. Had zero cell signal most of the time. If you want to get away to nice house and a really get away and disconnect this is your place

Beautiful property on a quite part of the lake - SO peaceful we felt like we were the only people on earth. Wonderful stay!!

Very nice location. The house is beautiful and has wonderful open floor plan. The dock/boat house is awesome. The neighborhood boat ramp made it easy to put our jet skis in and out of the water. We found a binder in the kitchen. At first glance, it looks like a copy of the power point provided by the host prior to the trip with general info like door code and where to take the trash. After a couple of days into our stay, I flipped through the binder and found list of rules. One of which stated no fishing from boat house. This is probably something that should be part of the listing. The main reason we go to lake is to fish. Overall, great place and would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing stay at the lake.

Our stay was great. Wish we could've been there longer than we were. Would love to go back.
