Lake Front, Quiet, Private cove on 4.75 acres, Canoe, 2 Kayak, 2 boat docks

Beautiful property and home. Very welcoming with lots of room for everyone to be comfortable. The back porch is a wonderful place to start the day with coffee, watching the sunrise over the lake.

The place is awesome ! Very large bedrooms , plenty of bathrooms and places to hang out.The fishing was lots of fun and I caught a few bass too. I would highly recommend staying here. The owner Gene was a gentleman and will address any issues quickly.

The house was perfect for our end of year family vacation. We kayaked, hiked, played games and put together puzzles. Perfect family time. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for all of us.

The house was everything and more we hoped for. Clean house, comfortable beds & nice bedding, nice furnishings, nice kitchen, manageable for elderly with flat property & few steps. My favorite thing was the radiant heat on bathroom floors! They felt really good in November.

The weather was rainy and cold but we still had a very relaxing week just taking in the beautiful views from the porches!!! We have stayed at this home every summer for the past 15 years. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else, this is the BEST home on the lake!

For a Family looking for a home with 6 BR's and a dock, this is a great choice as long as you come prepared to share 4 bathrooms among 6 BR's. Dock includes canoe and kayaks. Large back yard -- great for kids to play in and a fire pit for s'mores.

Our daughter is at Clemson and we have family in Charleston so we wanted to do a Thanksgiving getaway to incorporate all and the big game on Saturday after Thanksgiving! Everyone loves the house and we had plenty of room to spread out and be together. Tranquil Lane does not disappoint!

I had wedding guests in town from UK and over the states. Everyone had a fabulous time, the house is huge and has plenty of rooms and space so that you are not on top of each other. We jumped in the lake and swam or kayaked every morning and sat by the fire a couple of the nights. I wish it was my year round house!

Perfect spot for two families to get back together. Hope to come back again!

This was planned to be a family trip from Sunday to Sunday. Gorgeous home on a beautiful lake with plenty of room for all of us. THe water was clear and warm - much nicer than what we have in central NC. Unfortunately our kids weren't able to join us until Wednesday evening. Beginning Thursday, Helene started coming Through and then on Thursday night, it came in earnest. Many trees down and no power but the house was fine. But as a result we had to cut our vacation short leaving Friday afternoon. All that being said, the Host was helpful and as accommodating as he could be. We'd rent there again in a heartbeat. Our kids will have stories to tell about how they rode out a hurricane on Lake Keowee.

All the brother, sisters, and spouses just had a great time. We had more than enough parking for are cars and pontoon boat & trailer. The bedrooms & bathrooms were all spacious and clean. The kitchen & dining areas were spacious and well equipped. Our host was very accommodating and even called to see if everything was ok and asked if we needed anything. The weather and the lake were perfect too. Thanks you!

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful property. The homeowners were so accommodating and gracious!! We enjoyed the spacious home and all the amenities kayaking, fishing and relaxing in the quiet cove on Lake Keowee. Grocery shopping was neatly by so we were able to cook all our meals in the well equipped kitchen. We are looking forward to our next trip to this tranquil location!

Quiet, peaceful, tranquil location with lovely home. Great kitchen with all the appliances and gadgets you may need. The lake is pristine and calm and the dock, canoe, and kyacks let you enjoy it for hours a day.

Will definitely be back

This was the 5th time we rented Gene's house -- it's perfect for our family and located just one cove from my son's dock and boat lift. House is always well supplied. If we use something up, we replace it. Have already booked for 2025.

2nd visit. Everything went as planned. Great place. Great Lake!
