Lake Charlevoix Family Resort ~ 3 Houses ~ Perfect Retreat For Families!

It was a quick walk to the beach. Getting to the boat launch was quick. Its was a great time.

It is very old! WiFi questionable. Big house was okay, loft house has very small spiral staircase to loft which is okay if you’re 12. Guest house should not be rented. Bathroom is SMALL. Read sit sideways on a rocking toilet. Shower questionable. Again, property is OLD. The sandy beach shown in the photos was not seen. Walk to beach across a busy street. Not close. Beach furniture is OLD. Zen garden is not close to houses, 10 minute walk. Didn’t use it. Nate responded quickly to request for firewood. A/C was a couple small window units that did blow some cool air but house got pretty hot. Docks were unsafe. Plumbing issues in two houses. Loft had major sewer gas issues. Faucet handles were broken. Well water is very rusty. No dishwasher or laundry. Grills also were OLD. Clothes in closets, game room locked. Dressers used for wallpaper storage. And clothes. Grounds were nice. It is possible for older homes and amenities to be pleasant if well maintained but that isn’t the case here. Porch stairs had no railing. If I had paid half as much I would be more accepting of conditions.

Host always available, beautiful property, beach rocky but clear water. Close to cute towns, lots of room, the Zen Garden a big hit! We’ll certainly come back!

Our family had a wonderful time staying here. Plenty of room indoors to accommodate 19 of us. Spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the expansive property. Nate was very accommodating when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again!

What an amazing place to stay! Spent the majority of our time outside enjoying the water and the grounds. Would definitely come back. Nate was fantastic to work with and very responsive. We will definitely be back!

We have a great time! Beautiful location! Very clean and lots of space, both indoors and outdoors. The Zen garden was a special bonus. We are going to try to make our way back two years from now.

Nate was a great host. Very responsive. Area was beautiful and his property was expansive. We rented all three houses. The volleyball net was great for the kids. Very short walk to the lake. Ferry to the Landing was also convenient.

This property was great for our large group. 17 people fit just fine. Nate is an excellent host and always was available when help was needed. Property was well taken care of. Great location just off the lake. We would go again!!

We had a great time at this rental and really enjoyed the property and the area.

We had maximum occupancy. The children had so much to do outside with games we brought and bikes as well as lakefront. The houses are retro and appliances work. To be fair the bathroom showers are small but function. We were told well water and brought our own due to strong iron content . The mattresses need upgrading . Any issue was addressed ASAP by Nate. We only slept and fixed meals in the homes. We enjoyed each other and love being outside, the lakefront is a short walk but that was good so no one strayed into lake . We created many memories .
