Wonderful view of the lake through one whole side of the house. Quiet and peaceful. House was accessible for my elderly father in all respects except for the shower which is a tub/shower combo. He had to skip showering but the rest of us enjoyed the incredible water pressure coming out of the shower head :)Lots of steps down to the beach but our young dog managed them well. Appreciated the gates on the deck so we were able to have our dog hang out there and not worry about him escaping down to the beach when weren’t looking.

We had the most incredible stay at this charming Vermont property at the beginning of foliage season, and it truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views of the water and the peaceful, cozy atmosphere.

Loved the deck with the beautiful sunsets. Enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately there is a bit of a drought and could not use the dock or mooring. To no one’s fault but mother nature. The one thing I would say is if you have a boat more than 21 feet (as we do). You would have an issue with the narrow roads & getting into the driveway. Had a bit of a snag with finding the road. But neighbors were very helpful. Great communication with owner, very helpful with any questions. Would def recommend.

This was a great lake house… super quiet neighborhood and we felt very safe. Only a 20 minute drive to get to downtown Burlington or Colchester… we drove10 more minutes and found some fantastic hiking trails! I would certainly stay here again!

This please was fantastic! We had a wonderful time staying here, it felt like a true vacation. The view of the water was picture perfect and being just steps away made it that much more luxurious. It had everything we needed and more! Great location to stores and downtown Burlington. Bedrooms were spacious enough and comfortable. Having so many fans was great, we all like a little white noise at night. Having use of kayaks and canoe was a plus, we used them daily! The house was tricky to find, maps did not take us directly to it and those roads were tricky to figure out, but once we arrived it was no problem! Thank you so much for sharing your home! Best VRBO we have stayed in yet!

We stayed for 3 weeks. The view is fabulous, the appliances all in good working order and the proximity to bike paths is fabulous. It is also a quick trip to Burlington. The biggest downside is sharing the dock with the rental next door. The entrance to the beach/ dock is right in front of this cottage. One of the days, there were at least 12 people walking back and forth while we were on the deck. The kayaks, canoe and SUPs are also shared, so there might not be one available when you want it if there is a large group next door. We watch a very small amount of tv but if you do, the streaming capability is nonexistent and the channel options are very limited. This was not a problem to us since we were outside most of the time enjoying the location and deck.

The Deck House was perfect for a long weekend visiting our daughter who attends UVM. We loved the beautiful views of the lake from the main living area. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. 1 1/2 bathrooms was great too. We hope to return.

We spent Thanksgiving week at the Lake Champlain Deck House. The views were amazing, the house was warm and cozy, and given that we cooked for Thanksgiving, the kitchen was well stocked. We went on a ton of walks and it was close to a lot ! We will have to head back in the watmer weather.

Stayed here with my mom, 3 year old son, and our 2 dogs for a few nights. It was absolutely perfect for my son. He had a blast with all of the toys in the loft area and running around with the dogs outside. Sunsets on the deck were incredible. Very cozy, family friendly house. Communication with the host was great too.

When I walked into the house, I thought, Ï could live here! What a cozy, magical and comfortable place. We loved everything about it and will be staying here whenever I come up to visit my daughter at UVM. She spent hours studying in front of the fire while we made apple crisp. Saturday morning when we woke up there was a full rainbow outside where you could see both ends. Home is clean, comfortable and fabulous!

The house is fine. The half bath is teeny tiny. The overall feel of the house is that it is old and a little neglected. The windows and screens were dirty, the stairs to the dock were very old and very steep. There were a few modern updates like the appliances and the granite countertop in the kitchen but other amenities were old…..mismatched old towels, mismatched cutlery, old bedding. It felt like the house needed a refresh. The location is nice down a private road but it was difficult to find! Don’t come after dark.

There is so much to say about our wonderful stay at the deck house. The views and sunsets are unmatched and the access to the water is ver convenient, especially for my young children (and dog). The house itself was the most well equipped rental I’ve ever stayed in. We brought stuff from home that we never even needed. From beach towels to toilet paper to dish detergent. My kids also had a blast with Lego building contests and watching old VHS’ in the loft. Don was very responsive to questions that we had as well. A must visit!

We had a wonderful stay on Mallets Bay. Having previously stayed at the house next door (owned by the same host) we knew we could expect a clean property and this delivered. There was plenty of space for all 5 of us. The open floor plan allowed our toddler and dog ample running around options and our son was obsessed with the stash of toys upstairs in the loft. Everything was set up for comfort and the views can’t be beat. Looking forward to coming back next year!
