Lake Anna Waterfront 3BR House on Private Side with High Speed Internet

Great stay. Incredible water views. Screened in areas were great for bug avoidance. Comfortable amenities and a delightfully firm king mattress as opposed to saggy ones in other rentals.Would stay again.

Very comfortable home - laid out perfectly for what we needed . And the walk to the dock was very easy - too bad the water was so warm (almost hot) - but still gorgeous .. home was well equipped - the screened in area at the dock was awesome - the outlets however didn’t work nor the fan - but didn’t matter . Great stay !

Everything about this house was perfection! The location, the view, the house, the kitchen and house layout. Additionally, I have never stayed in a house as well stocked as this one! Wow!! We never left the house during our 4 night stay except to walk up to the gas station/market for an occasional breakfast sandwich or ice cream! The convenience was everything!! The water was a balmy 90 degrees and we loved ever minute of it because the kids never wanted to get out! The two kayaks were a treat and we brought our stand up paddle board too. We trolled around the lake and saw so many big beautiful birds! I really shouldn’t write such an amazing review because now I will have to fight with other people to rent this house- but I wanted everyone to know how great it was! Thank you!

Each year friends of mine that I’ve known for 35 years get together to catchup. This weekend’s trip was the best yet! The house is absolutely beautiful and being able to sit on the deck in the morning drinking coffee while staring out over the water made time stand still. The one and only negative thing about this visit was the temperature of the lake. Obviously out of the owner’s control but jumping into a lake that is 90 degrees is not very refreshing in August. Everything else was wonderful!

Very pretty house. Instructions were clear. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks. Nice screened in porch and dock.

We had a great time staying at the property. The house was plenty big enough to house my family group of 9. The house was neatly kept, and the boathouse was a nice to hang out in while the kids were swimming. Our only complaint was how hot the lake water was, but nothing could be done about that.

Amazing Weekend Getaway!We had a fantastic weekend at this beautiful lake house! The home was spacious, clean, and perfect for a family getaway — with three bedrooms, a fun basement equipped with a table tennis setup, and a huge backyard with easy access to the lake.My brother-in-laws and I had an absolute blast playing ping pong, while our kids (ages 4 and 3) loved running around and exploring the outdoors. The peaceful lake view made it even more special.To top it off, I accidentally left my phone behind, and the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. They coordinated everything perfectly, and I’ll be picking it up this weekend — a big thanks for going above and beyond!Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind with family or friends. We’ll definitely be back!

A reunion group of friends, 60 years old and up, that hold each other accountable in our faith, needed a get away to revive and rest. We loved this house. Great view. Peaceful and quiet. So many different locations to hang out. We especially loved the two screened in porches. So we were able to be outside all day even when it rained. Everyone agreed we would like to book it again.

Everything was as described as, about property.Host was very cooperative, check in and check out process was smooth , well equipped Lake front kitchen, good restaurant's and food Lion is near by,8/ 10 miles away. Overall we enjoyed our stay, definitely we will come back

Arrived with at 10pm after a long day of travel. None of the beds were made up with fresh linen. Each bed had a bag with fresh sheets so that we could make our own beds. With a party of five ..the next issue was the lack of any toilet paper or paper towels on the premises. Making a bad situation worse, it was late evening and we were no where near any kind of open store to go out and buy any. This prompted a call to the property manager who said to take it up with the owner. This prompted some heated words with the manager who came over shortly thereafter with some TP with the words that it was from her private stash and that we should not speak to her that way if we wanted any assistance. Simply put... if you are not going to supply TP for your guests (a house full), you might want to let them know in advance so they might get some before they arrive and find all local stores closed. Also I never booked at VRBO where we were tasked with making our beds on arrival. Overall, a not so wonderful stay.

Beautiful spot on Lake Anna. House met our needs and we had a great weekend. Check-in and communication was a little difficult, called and left messages with property manager We were unable to get a hold of her right away so didn’t get into the house right away. Did eventually get an email from property owner that evening to double check on us. No trash bags. No dish soap. No toilet paper. It was easier for us to just get these things ourselves than have to deal with property manager.

We had a fantastic stay! Location is right on the water with beautiful views. Ample sleeping areas for our group and kitchen is well stocked. A few cons - noting here for possible improvements in the future - dust/cobwebs/spiders; property could use some deep-cleaning, guests need to bring extra toilet paper (did not see this listed in property description and expected there to be at least an extra roll in each bathroom but there was not - luckily there is a store about 5 miles up the road), beds were not made - clean linens were on top of each bed (again, expected the sheets to already be on the bed - especially when paying this much money - certainly do not expect to go on vacation at a house like this and have to make the beds when we arrive). Just some things to think about to elevate the experience for others down the road. We very much enjoyed the deck and the boat dock. Kids swam and kayaked quite a bit. Thank you!

It was a very nice house.It had a spacious yard, and the house was very nice and well stocked. Mary the property manager was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
