Stayed Jun 21, 2019We would highly recommend saying at la Baine , The gite is delitful , full of character. It has everything you need for a fabulous stay. The weather was amazing even though four days were soooooo hot at 39 !! The pool was never short of company . It was so peaceful and relaxing the only noise you can hear are the birds, crickets. The hosts are just lovely , also providing lots of information on places to visit . 15min drive to the village saint jean-de-Cole is a must it truly is “the prettiest village in France “ Brantôme a 25min drive is also delitfull

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Nice and cozy place, very nice swimming pool and beautiful garden. Loved the place and we might even come back this summer

Stayed Sep 8, 2018We had a fantastic stay at La Baine the house exceeded all expectations and the garden and pool were wonderful. Marie-Claire was very helpful with any queries and was able to recommend sights and restuarants in the area. The house is great for families and for anyone wanting to relax in beautiful countryside.
