Stayed Dec 31, 1969Lovely compact house in a quiet location in the woods but easy to get to. Caretaker is close by and very helpful. You almost certainly need a car and proximity of trees might make spotting the northern lights from the sofa tricky, but definitely visible from outside the house. ;-)

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Das Ferienhaus konnte vor allem durch Gemütlichkeit sowie perfekte Ausstattung mit Küchenutensilien, Grundnahrungsmitteln und Reinigungszubehör überzeugen. Perfekter Aufenthalt mit sehr freundlichem Vermieter, der eine unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe und den Verleih von Schneeschuhen ermöglicht hat. Ein Auto ist essentiell um Wander- und Langlaufstrecken in der Umgebung zu erreichen und zu den weit entfernten Supermärkten zu gelangen. Endreinigung sollte zur Zufriedenheit aller gebucht werden.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Séjour plus que magique pour une première fois en Laponie. Logement au calme, en pleine nature, typique lapon et bien situé entre Rovaniemi (60km) et Luosto (50km).

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Chalet très agréable avec cheminée et sauna Par contre le logement est assez éloigné du centre de Rovaniemi (40-45min) Personnellement ça ne nous a pas trop gêné mais il faut faire beaucoup de Kms pour pratiquer la moindre activité! Du coup location d’un véhicule nécessaire

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Wir haben hier zwei traumhafte Wochen mitten im verschneiten Wald zugebracht, es war sehr gemütlich. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, hat immer für genügend Kaminholz gesorgt und dafür, daß gleich morgens der Schneepflug den Waldweg räumte, wenn es schneite. Wir haben schöne Spaziergänge gemacht, teils auch mit Ski, das Polarlicht gesehen, und wir haben mit dem Auto die Umgebung erkundet: Rovaniemi, Kemijärvi, Sodankylä und vor allem das nahe gelegene Wintersportgebiet von Luosto und Pyhä.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969What a great find, the pictures definitely don't do the property justice. We were here in December 2019 and greeted with around 60cm of snow around the cabin. The road is kept passable by a snow plow visit when necessary Its a 2 min walk to the frozen river. No internet but excellent 4g reception. Also no freezer in the kitchen.
