Backing onto the bush and minutes walk from the beach, Kookaburra is the perfect place to stay in beautiful Currarong. A welcoming, comfortable, light-filled house, with kangaroos on the lawn most evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Everything about Kookaburra Cottage was perfect. The style, the layout of the rooms. Everything you need to cook delicious meals. Great heating for the colder months. The owners have put a lot of effort into creating a cosy lived in beach vibe. Thank you!

We stayed this wonderful property (Kookaburra)4-5 times in 7-8years. We are elderly people whoare enjoying walking and fishing .The location is perfect for us in this respect.Moreover the host ( Mariand Peter) inform us immediately for our every necessity.We hope to stay again if available

Wonderful native plant garden complete with kangaroos. Perfect location for beach & nature walks. Some great fishing on ocean beach. Kitchen had all the things we wanted .

Great location - quiet, private, adjoining bushland, short walk to a lovely beach and walking tracks to other beaches. We loved the private hot and cold outdoor shower, and extra toilet outdoors. Well equipped kitchen. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We look forward to another visit!

Spacious, clean & everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nice short casual walk to the child friendly beach which was perfect for our 2yr old granddaughter. Kangaroos & Kookaburras at the doorstep, you can’t get better than that. Second year we’ve stayed at Kookaburra & we’ll definitely be back..

We had another perfectly relaxing week at Kookaburra. The cottage is comfortable and had everything we needed for a low-key get-away. We loved our strolls down to the beach to swim and snorkel, and explored the many bushwalks and quiet beaches along the way. We look forward to next time!

We really enjoy our stay at Kookaburra Cottage and Currarong. Suits us perfectly as the garden has lots of native birds and access to the bush. Great facilities and well set up. The front bedroom gets a bit hot on hot days but there was a beautiful breeze most days.

Kookaburra is a gorgeous coastal cottage nestled in bushland at the top of Currarong village. We enjoyed a very relaxing five days at this lovely house. It’s well located, an easy walk to the beach, bush trails and the local shop. The house is well equipped with quality appliances and air conditioning. It features a covered deck overlooking bushland, the perfect spot to watch visiting kangaroos and enjoy a cold beer or glass of wine after a day at the beach. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kookaburra house. Walking distance to the Currarong beach. Abraham’s beach is a gem of a spot. Still many walks we wanted to do in and around the area. We will be back for another visit for sure.

Kookaburra is a perfect family beach house, spacious, light and airy in a gorgeous bush setting and just a short walk to beautiful Abraham Bosum beach. We’ve stayed numerous times and it’s always a joy.
