Kokomo - Gulf Front, Heated Community Pool, 30A, Old Florida Beach Neighborhood!

Spectacular location and a beautiful lay out. Master suite is a dream come true to wake up and be staring at the ocean each morning. And having the private boardwalk leading straight to the beach is beyond convenient. Highly recommend and everything about the experience was excellent. There id no question my family will returning in the future, hopefully soon!

Beach access and neighborhood is just wonderful. Very convenient and close to lovely restaurants, shops etc. Home is clean and inviting. We had 6 adults and 3 kids ages 5, 4 & 2. There are no beach towels, only 1 beach umbrella and no extra beach toys or coolers or any kind of amenities that make spending time on the beach so fun. All of that needs to be rented which is easy to do through the website that is recommended (Lindsay at BabyQuip was wonderful). For the money, I think providing towels etc would be nice. The home itself has been lived in for sure. It’s kind of the “Old Guard “ of beach decor and modern appliances etc. Could use a nice update. The master bedroom & bathroom have been remodeled and are great. Rest of the house is not in the category of luxury- but with 3 kids under 5 -it felt just right for us. We used the porch in the evening for family games. Really just spent all of our time on the beach or at the pool house which is absolutely perfect for young kids and hanging out. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. We had a wonderful long weekend and would stay again with the same group. Plenty of parking. All in all a fantastic vibe.

The house was perfect for our group of 5 couples. The beach was beautiful and the gulf was amazing! Sunsets were breathtaking each night!

This property did all the big things right, but failed in the margins. The house's location is unbeatable, right on the beach and in a gated community with shared community pool. The house is definitely dated, but the 5 bedrooms slept our group of 3 families easily.Unfortunately, it does seem like the upkeep is lacking. A piece of siding was missing from the front of the house when we checked in. The handle on one the toilets did not work (could only flush by lifting off the tank lid and pulling up the flapper by hand) and 2 of the shower doors would not stay closed due to incorrect installation. The managing company was fairly responsive and put in a maintenance ticket, but who wants a handy man joining your beach vacation? Really close to being a perfect property, but ultimately just another VRBO trying to churn through guests as fast as possible while avoiding maintenance and upkeep.

My family and I had a great time! The house was comfortable and the beach was gorgeous. Since we’re near public entrances to the beach, it could get a little crowded—but when you’re staying right on the beach, it’s hard to complain about anything! We would totally stay here again.

Everything about accomodations and location were superior. All was wonderful except one thing…… internet wifi signal was very weak…. Such that my two working sons had to go to the Barns and Noble to do work.

The home was so well laid out- so much room. There was plenty of parking space - we had 3 cars. The location was wonderful with great views from the top balcony. The beach walkover was so convenient. Easy walking distance to several restaurants and shops. Would definitely rent this house again.

Great beach house, lots of space for our family get together of 11. Loved the beach access and decks! There were lots of towels provided. We need maintenance and someone came to check on it quickly. Check in and out was extremely easy and communication with the office was very easy. We had a time!

Overall our entire family of 12 enjoyed the Kokomo House. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate us. The Old Florida Beach Community was top notch and very inviting to us Vacationers. Pool Area was very clean and impressive. Not overstated but impressive. Only disappointment was the wifi didn't work and the Ocean Reef Management personnel didn't follow through on the 3 open order correction tickets. WiFi is very important to me as a business owner who needs wifi at 2pm everyday, vacation or not. Note this: if they get the wifi corrected, I could see me booking an off-season management retreat there but ONLY if they address the wifi.

Great stay at the Kokomo once again. My family had a great time.
